This is a standout dating show!
Watching it felt deeply personal because so many of us have experienced—or are still experiencing—similar struggles in life. While some may not relate to the contestants’ journeys in the same way, the show doesn’t rely on superficial beauty or charm. Instead, it shines a light on the raw, unfiltered humanity of everyday people.
I found myself moved to tears for Yi Do, as I, too, went through a comparable experience—and I’m a man. I can’t praise Netflix enough for bringing such authenticity and sincerity to the screen, especially in a media landscape that often overlooks stories like these. I truly wish every contestant the best and hope this show gives them strength. It can’t be easy to admit you’re “eternally single” and to step into the spotlight like this.
