Them talking in English made me so cringe lol
Kids at my hs always busted out in any language they could pick up whether though classes, media, or home- so to me it feels like- oh, they do that too.

It's gone from hilarious and entertaining to thoughtful and insightful- a change that has pleasantly surprised me. I've loved this series because not only is it very relevant but it had me literally bursting out laughing multiple times (nice). Now, it cleverly comments on coping with drama and social responsibility. Indeed you can't judge a book by it's cover. Usually, I watch heavier stuff and I am glad I didn't dismiss this.

The synopsis sounds like a morph of Love and Deception. Anyone seen both? What's your take?

Please put a spoiler tag on the comment the website is going to get banned and you can watch on the oneD app but…
FYI, even if you pay, OneD subs take several days to show up.

Confusing as possible. It's like 2 mini shows with same actor/character names but ?? The YT "full version" is when Liang Chen is in college. The 4 ep this page appears to refer to are apparently after college and they have been together for "a few years." However, when they tell "their story" and show flash backs, not only do they completely omit the "their story" from the YT version, but they give an alt version. And a comment below says something about NC scenes, which I saw none of, so I am wondering if there is possibly yet another version floating around.

Refreshing to see a really good movie with organic visuals and genuine feeling movie. The performances (even side characters) were very realistic. Youth, infatuation, aloof, annoyed, over it, bad or mean - all very realistic and no over-the-top caricatures. The cinematography was nice and organic too. Not saturated or nostalgic, but more like letting the true flavors subtly come out. Anne Curtis was so realistic in her crying scenes that I actually paused to think about how far off so many other dramas are. Marco Gumabao nailed his character. Even scenes such as the elite dinner party looked real like compared to for example a C or K drama version. Or when you envision things going one way and when you execute it you are just mediocre and have to bow out. A very realistic take on real life situations. I guess the ratings are about that. Many people want escapism (I'm also one) but, damn, how can you not appreciate a realistic depiction such as this.
Glad I stumbled upon this.

Maybe the BEST Korean drama I have ever seen (quite the feat). Daring, exposing, well written and executed without any apologies. Every episode, calculating move, even how it ends is meaningful. It's best not to binge, but to digest and think about this one or else you might miss out on complexities and nuances that make this. It's like all classics, the deeper you dive in, the more you appreciate it's value.

Watch it, it's so impressive! Caution: Scandalous and spicy. Way better than most het or historic Thai shows. If this show doesn't hold 8.5-9.0 ratings on MDL, then it's bs.

I liked it but it can get emotional. It's def a show to think about on a deeper level and not to just react or jeer/cheer. Def underrated. Here's why- every character is complicated, confused, and just trying to figure out what to do- and not knowing what to do, just drifting along in a messy life. Lessons learned are ah ha moments where lives turn around into something satisfying the audience. And when lessons are learned, it is usually because it gets to the point the house is burning down and you can't ignore it. Because every little thing is convoluted, it's a drama. Characters have traumas, some are immature although they try hard not to be, and they make stupid mistakes, often repeatedly- for me, that's what makes it realistic. If you need an ending that feels complete and resolved, this isn't for you. But again, for me, that makes it more realistic. I liked it but I def didn't feel all warm and fuzzy after it ended. Nor was I supposed to.
If any of this feels like a turn off, check out a different series.

Absolutely do not trust the ratings on this phenom. I've seen ratings off the rails quite a bit, especially with anything mature and gritty, but this is probably the biggest load of ratings bs I've seen. Mindblowing.

Zhenzhen - does this actress ever play a good person?wait....
But she's a good go to as a husband stealer 😂. Although much less creepy in this one.

On episode 10 and it is sooo slow and drawn out since episode 3. It took several episodes for Wallace Chung to actually become a main character. I like him as an actor but for him to get top billing and then have a handful of lines stretched out over episodes...it feels like a joke. I know billing is a money/power decision but I couldn't resist commenting. I wanted to like this show and did like the first 2 episodes but since then I am waiting and waiting for something a little more....well, a little more.
