Amazing mini drama!

First of all, I never butter up to dramas just because they have BL. There were many BL dramas I didn't like and wasn't shy to admit it. I started this with not much expectations because of the salty comments, but ended up loving it more than I imagined I would. I'm so glad I watched it. I haven't watched such a good BL drama in so long. This was a mini web-series but gives the satisfaction of a (mini) mild makjang drama.

I felt like it was a combination of Korean and Taiwanese mild makjang mini drama, even though it was so short, it has the feel of a drama instead of a short web-series if that makes sense. It comes with all the flavors of a normal drama except that this is just 150min long (so you could see it as a movie instead of whine that its short).

The main korean character's acting and background story + personality feels just like your typical kdrama hot & cold male lead.

Even though the main lead (Jun Cheong) speaks mostly korean while the others speak taiwanese but they hint that the others understand his korean because the other characters say blend in korean words in their chinese sentences at times and at other times they even throw in full korean sentences (even tho their korean isn't good but Lin Xun's korean is surprosingly good). Also even Jun Cheong mixes some chinese words with his korean sometimes but just a word or two every now and then.

I heard many people on other platforms criticizing this mini drama calling it unsatisfactory, too short, no plot, full of fanservice, etc.

First of all, this is a web-series and its better than most other web-series so you can't call it too short lmao. Besides, its as good as a normal drama because it has all the flavors a long drama has, this is the first mini web-series that made me treat it as a drama. Yall are being too greedy.
Second of all, how doesn't it have a plot? Really? Just because it was short doesn't mean it doesn't have a plot! It started when they had a conflict that involved both leads in and they solved it then we see the relationship and feelings slowly develop. We watch as the side couples have their own unique and different romance stories. They even managed to tell us a little about each of the main leads' background stories and we even understand how their life has been like throughout the years and even present. They even managed to include little things like one of the main lead's birthday, things they like and dislike, their personalities are consistent with theor character yet we can see them grow and improve as a person all in just 10 tiny bity episodes.
Also the last 1-2 episodes are full of fan service?? Really? If there was really fan service, do you think they'll have all those kisses scenes? If that were really done for fan service then they would just have gay-baited us and we wouldn't even see any kiss scene!! they each of the 3 couples in the drama have their own unique romance and story, even some conflict and reunite is involved just like every other drama. Just because the couples are getting together later in the drama and being lovey dovey doesn't mean its for fan service! Heck, if that was really fan service then the last 4 episodes of "Her Private Life" are also fan service!! The last 4 eps in that drama were full of the main leads kissing so much and being way over the top lovey dovey to the point I wanted to vomit blodd!! But when couples in bl dramas get to also have some lovey dovey moments too when they finally get together then that's wrong and fan service?

I was surprise that for such a short web-service, the productions budget cost was obviously high, and the filmography was as good as kdramas. That's why I always prefer Chinese/Taiwanese/Korean BL whether the romance is censored or just the drama is short, because they have actual good stories and plots unlike Thai BL series that are being done in the mass to the point the stories feel to repetitive.

If they do it hot, you argue that you want it cold. If they do it cold, you argue that they do it hot.

What more do you want??

Also NO there is no incest and the brothers don't fall in love with each other ffs, there are 3 brothers only and the 4th one is mistaken as the 4th brother by accident but that gets solved quickly before any romance actually happens. Don't listen to the comments and watch it, you'll get to see each of the 3 brothers have a relationship that blooms beautifully.

Highly Recommend it!

I just finished watching "Likit Haeng Jan" and here's why I recommend it. (Especially if you like "Ruk Laek Pop" because this is similar)

It's a time travel lakorn about two girls (same actress) who have the same parents and look the same but live in two different era. The girl from the ancient era travels to the present and falls in love with the present girl's best friend. The present time girl travels to the past and falls in love with a guy who the parents of the ancient girl wanted her to marry.

The female lead in this lakorn has two different roles (present time girl/ancient time girl)

1. Present time female lead is smart, strong, bold, cute, flirty. She rarely ever loses in a fight, but when she does its because of her lust for the male lead (not kidding lmao), she makes him blush with her aggressive flirting. Ancient time girl is shy and weak but not stupid and still can think for herself.

2. Both male leads aren't arrogant and are funny, kind, and loyal. I thought I'll have the second-lead syndrome but its not possible in this drama since there's a happy ending for the two characters of the female lead, they each have their story.

3. I love time travel dramas (ancient time to present time or present time to ancient time). This lakorn did both with equal screen time. You can see the present time girl's experience in the ancient time, and the ancient girl's experience in the present time, as if I'm watching two different stories in one lakorn (but linked). I thought this since usually when there are twins or identity switch in dramas or lakorns, they always kill one of the look alike or not show one of them to us the entire time, but there's equal screen time for both here.

It was really funny and humurous even during serious times, they made me laugh. Just like every other historical drama, there are deaths but people aren't dying in a mass unreasonably like most kdramas, if someone dies then it has a good cause for the plot.

My rating is 8.5. I was going to rate it a 9 because nothing is perfect in this world, but rated it a 8.5

I tried not to spoil anything but I hope that you give this a try because its really good, I binged it in one day and not once did I feel bored. Can't believe I just stumbled upon this.

I liked this lakorn as much as I liked "Amaya" even though they're different

Had the potential but got ruined

My rating went from 10 to 7.5 after the last 2 episodes.

It went from being The Penthouse material to getting thrown down the dumpster.

What moral of the story are they getting at? That its Sun Joo and Mira's fault for being too materialistic and always showing off with the newest high heels, and that they changed and became normal by wearing comfortable shoes??

I had high expectations for this drama, I'm disappointed. I thought if it won't be as good as The Penthouse then it could at least be as good as High Class but damn was I wrong

Sarawat is a perfect boyfriend!

I almost skipped this drama because of the comments. I really enjoyed the series and it kept my heart fluttering and smiling. I've watched 120+ BLs and I don't think this drama deserves so much criticism.

Even though I agree that some parts were annoying such as Tine being a cry baby the whole time and acting like he doesn't understand Sarawat's feelings even when he straight up kisses him and confesses his feelings a million times. Tine REALLY LOVES to come up with random scenarios and doubt about Sarawat's feelings for him then ends up misunderstanding, doubting and breaking up with Sarawat until Sarawat or someone gives him recorded evidence that his doubt isn't real, Tine annoyed me the most in the last 3 episodes but I really enjoyed the first 10 episodes.

Also to those calling this drama a "Bromance," lmao I wish if every bromance was as hot and romantic as the main couple in this drama

Sarawat was literally the best thing in the whole drama, he's so hot and so is his character, his flirting, teasing smiles and smirks at Tine never failed to make me skip a heart beat. He was the least annoying character, actually nothing ever was annoying about him. He always loved Tine and was clear about his own feelings. Tine is so insecure as heck.

Dim is a cockblocker

Dim is so annoying and childish till the very end. Its like his main purpose in the drama is to create chaos and be a cockblocker.

I never felt anything for the Man and Type pairing, their relationship felt forced and awkward.

I loved the main couple Tine and Sarawat, despite the insecurity of Tine's characters that always creates misunderstandings and needs validations of Sarawat's love- really enjoyed the series.

Sarawat is sooo hot.

Btw the hate comments on season 1 and 2 are from people who are so mad that the main leads didn't display an actual sex scene on camera with them naked and started calling it a "Bromance," even though they kiss a million times and sleep on the same bed and are very romantic, sweet and cute. Boys love doesn't equal explicit sex on screen.

They're so salty since the main lead Sarawat is usually in straight romance dramas so despite his amazing acting and chemistry for Tine in this drama, they just wanna assume that Sarawat is "afraid of skinship," lmao how, when , where?? They had a lot of skinship to the point I got diabetes. Don't hate on an actor just because the director didn't request any explicit sex scene from him. LMAO damn, I hate people.

The title should have been Toxic Love instead

The title should have been Toxic Love instead

I thought I'd enjoy this drama since I really really enjoyed Siew Sum Noi since the universe, musical style, village, and actors from Siew Sum Noi were in this drama but nahh I didn't feel anything for this drama especially after being put off with what Tak did to that "fake ghost"

I don't understand how no one took it seriously when Tak literally raped a girl who pretended to be a ghost in the forest for "fun." How can I stomach Tak flirting with Sek and Ko at the same time after this?

Anyways still can't take this drama seriously. The songs and musical scenes don't bother me, in fact its the reason I started this drama, but the plot is weird and Tak is even weirder.

On another note, I find it funny that the actors of Teng and Ko were fighting over Ruk from Siew Sum Noi, but here they'e fighting over each other LMAO

This drama just keeps getting weird by the minute huh??

First Tak takes advantage of Sek while he's drunk and rapes him, the next morning after Tak wakes up next to Sek, Ko comes out of the house saying he and Tak started dating and Sek runs outside mad. LMAO what even is this. That same morning Ko runs into Teng and both set boundaries that they each are in a relationship and will have nothing to do with each other. Then that same day at night Ko is drunk then has sex with Teng who IS NOT DRUNK, then the next morning Ko wakes up and puts his clohtes on as if he was conscious of last night with Teng and acts like he "used" Teng for sex and that he wants nothing with him after this.

I'm losing track of the stupidity, ridiculous things happen every minute.

I'm so done with this toxic and ridiculous drama, won't watch the next season, disappointed.

Rewatching it!

I already watched this BL drama "We Best Love" 2 weeks ago but I love it so much and wanna rewatch it again already. In the first season, I thought it was so pure and beautiful!! the romance between the main leads is so cute!! In the second season, the romance went from cute to ultimate hotness!! Very mature and classy, loved it!! I'll be honest the second couple is kind of unnecessary.

I still cannot get over this drama along with "I told Sunset About You," both left a huge impact on me.
What a coincidence, just realized both dramas are "rivals to lovers' which is my favorite trope!

Trash, Chinese propaganda

Trash, just tries to prove that gay people don't know true love and are all about cheating and having sex with random people

I enjoyed the Kinematics Theory prequel and I was satisfied with the ending but I regret watching this sequel because it ruined everything for me.

Think about it, all BL movies/dramas made after 2015 have been very censored to the point they can't even say they're in a relationship but just hint at it, only Taiwan can make good BLs.

Now this short sequel doesn't include a single kiss or physical affection just like the first season, yet it includes so many graphic sex scenes between main leads and lots of cheating. The main theme they keep trying to point out in the drama is that "there's no true love in gay relationships, no relationships will last, no partners will continue to satisfy, there'll always be lots of cheating, that's gay life."

So they can't promote gay love by romantic kisses because of the China ban but they can promote that gays don't have true love by graphic sex scenes.

Heck even the first sex scene in the drama right after one supposedly cheated and immediately forgiven was like how a prostitue gets fucked on the spot in a bar, so unromantic and just sexual need driven.

If you go thinking "no no this is a masterpiece, they're just trying to display more realistic gay relationships," oh please- more like a propaganda by China to show watchers that there's no true love in gay relationships.

Also in the previous season, Zhe was supposedly a "genius" so how come he barely can make a living now and decides to write novels when he was crazy abut numbers and math?? oh they're gay so they can't have a bright future besides have sex with random people.. oh until they marry a woman then their life will start to get better. Oh yeah that makes sense..

A lot of drama but entertaining

I dropped TharnType many times before and really hated it, thought it was very toxic. But picked it up again from ep 4 and feel like I was too harsh, I finally enjoyed it this time.

Seems that if you skip episode 3 then you can watch it and enjoy it without having to feel the "disgust" that TharnType is famous for which also previously made me drop it many times.

If you skip ep 3 and watch from ep 4 then I guarantee you'll be able to enjoy it and their relationship progress will seem normal. From ep 4 on, Type is the one throwing advances at Tharn, he also has a lot of progress at dealing with his internalized homophobia that was caused by childhood sexual abuse

It was okay, like any other normal episode

I enjoyed skipping through this "special," it felt like any other episode. Didn't really feel interested in all their couples moments here since they became a couple very very early in season one so their couple moments feels repetitive to me. I prefer when the romance is a slow burn then the couple moments will feel like a treat

But I enjoyed the scene with Type's parents, it was funny. Type's father kinda creeps me out tho, especially with how obsessed he is with Tharn's celebrity sister, made me cringe.

Loved it! I'll rewatch it!!

I've always loved Tin and Can together. Tin has this very sexy look, he's so hot, arrogant, hurt, lost trust and needs someone cute and clumsy like Can to make him believe in people and love again- like a kdrama plot haha. I never liked Ae/Pete's relationship as much as I liked Tin/Can's short moments in season 1, this season is like the treat I really needed.

Tin's acting is soooo good, one of the few BL actors who's acting doesn't make me cringe

Also to anyone who's annoyed that they recapped Tin/Can's scenes from season 1 before they continued with their new scenes, actually I think this was very smart to so since they didn't just recap their scenes but stretched them out with fillers where it looks more realistic to follow and see both of their POV. Also the recap of their moments from season 1 is really good for people who just want to watch Tin/Can's story without watching season 1.

I just really felt that Ae got too much screen time here and I didn't feel interested at all, always skipped. For those who want to see Ae/Pete's continuation that happens after this season then read the novel, its available in English on Amazon kindle and its very cheap.

In this season alone, there's 4 couples: 2 have bf/bf romance, 1 has a long distance romance, and the third one is a 3 love triangle of unrequited love (as in Tum's unrequited love for his step brother continues here, someone else has an unrequited love interest for Tum. Tum and his brother's relationship will continue in TharnType season 2 but their characters have different actors. Tum and his brother's story starts in TharnType s1, continues in Love by chance s1 and s2 then continues in Tharntype s2)

Love it, way better than the parent story TharnType!

Loved this so much!! way more than the parent story TharnType. The acting and chemistry in the main couple of TharnType felt very forced and unnatural, they didn't handle Type's trauma very well and the they had little to no background story.

Don't Say No was much better, its as if the producers listened to the fans in whats lacking in the TharnType story and used it to make the best out of this series. The acting here is muchhh better and the chemistry between the two couples feels very natural and strong. If you were to tell me that Leo and Flat are dating irl I would flat ass believe you!! They handled Flat's background story and trauma very very well. TharnType literally felt like 10% plot and 90% sex, skipped so much watching it. But I didn't skip anything in this series, loved all the characters, friends, and even Leo's parents. Even though Leo and Flat also had lots of hot scenes but it wasn't the center of the plot like in TharnType which I appreciated.

This series is one of my favorite BLs now!

For those sad about Pob and Leon, don't be- they have their own upcoming series called "Just Say Yes! The series," https://mydramalist.com/718549-just-say-yes-the-series

I'm really going to miss Flat and Leo, they're sooo cute, reminds me of the chinese HIStory series

Read some of the comments and noticed people blaming whatever they didn't like about any series adapted from MAME's books on the author and not the directors of the actual series.

Like yeah.. MAME wrote the novels, but the directing and exaggeration of scenes or whatever depends on the producers and directors of the series. If you actually personally read MAME's novels in person and are judging the story based on what you read then your reviews make sense. But judging MAME's novels based on the adapted series that is up to the director and not the author?

We all know that novels aren't always carbon copy and perfectly adapted into dramas so whyyyy.. oh well

More LeoFlat moments

Loved this special and the behind the scenes cuts in the second half. Obviously this special is for the main couple of Don't Say No, kind of unreasonable to be expecting the second couple to be the focus of the special, epilogues like this are always for the main couple. but there are some Pob and Leon moments in the second half behind the scenes. Don't be mad that this special doesn't focus on Pob and Leon since they'll get their own series called "Just Say Yes! the series"

Very sweet! So much nostalgia!

This series was so so so and sweet, yes its very short but it still made me feel nostalgic.Glad I found this series by chance, all the couples are sooo cute and their acting was really good, its a simple romance story that explores how 3 different couples approach and deal with love, but has a different feel from other GMMTV BL. The OST is also as sweet as cotton candy, whenever the background music played I was like awwwww. Love it love it!

Wish love irl was as sweet as this, too bad I fall in disgust at first sight irl, no wonder I indulge in so many romance as an escape from reality lmao jkdvkshskskn

Very cute, funny, and sweet! A must re-watch!!!!

Love it!!! So cute, entertaining and funny! I was having a long depressive day (aka week, I mean month) and this was the cure!
As if the characters aren't already cute and the sweetness of the romance that gives you a toothache (Pi is a dentist so he can fix this for you!), the level of comedy makes it twice as entertaining. And I really really need a boyfriend irl like Mork, he's so perfect and a very good flirt, every time he teases Pi I get all kinds of butterflies and dragon flies in my stomach, I bet Pi's physical/shaking reaction to Mork's flirting isn't acting but real reactions lmaooooo bc I felt the same way from behind the screen

Anyways this is such a stress free drama that I'll definitely rewatch when I'm having a tough day (I mean week..), its one of my all time favorites now!

yes the title is kinda funny but it actually has a very sweet meaning that will be explained in the drama.

Just wanted to share the love I feel for this cuteness overload drama!
