unless I am asked, i don't usually recommend no matter how much i like a drama/film because i understand not everyone has the same taste. my genre has always been romance so i always put a warning before suggesting anything lol

There's definitely a second season because that ending is not it - it left me with more questions than closures. lol i'm happy to comment that the hype did not disappoint.

just finished ep5 and i'm in love with all the couples - a first for me.

I don't understand the low rating. This is not the best bl series out there but I have seen worse. I was hoping to see who the writer/s is/are because damn that script was so good especially if you are a native and understands Tagalog. The English translation was good but it doesn't capture 100% the beauty of the script.

Everyone's acting actually surprised me knowing this is a first for most of them. I am pretty sure they'll deliver a better sequel.

I can't get enough of the scenery especially Barrio Balay. The shots/angles were chef's kiss. Also, let's not forget the visual of every cast. They're stunning. Pretty hair. Gorgeous outfit.

Lastly, the music!!!!!! It was eargasm from episode 1 to the season finale. When are we getting season 2?

I don't know which interview you watched but if that were true they wouldn't be fighting this much to have the marriage equality bill passed into law. In fact, members of the lgbtq community there admits that the country is presenting this progressive facade in order to attract foreign tourists because undeniably tourism is one of the driving force of the country. the way the bl industry has flourished the past few years, I wouldn't be surprised if it is one of the major reason why the industry of the nation has stayed afloat, pandemic and all.

is that not a thing in your country? i live in a 3rd world country where many areas are still so remote they can't be reach by the traditional public school system.

as for the story, it's really hard to comment especially when your taste is different from mine but so far I am loving it. It's not too fluffy but not too sappy either. i love my romcoms so this works for me. I hope you pick it up again.

yup, 99% it's the same. some of the huts even look the same lol it's quite nostalgic because one of them is also a teacher.

a side note, did they shoot on the same village? the cliff is there in one of the scenes too lol

i don't rate unless the show is finished and I guess the same goes with many watchers who are commenting not so favorably towards the series. wait until the last episode. i won't be surprised if the rating drops below 8.
