After strings of episodes where YH acted like a puppy wagging her tails around TY, I must admit it's nice to see TY simping over YH. I know BXS is annoying but I kinda like how he activate TY's jealous mode. People don't know what they got until someone challenges them for it. While TY still feel "guilty", I'm glad he passed that and realize he actually likes YH.
As for YH, we know she already forgives him. But she giving off small petty grudges vibe. Kind of remind me of how girls would be acting mad (but not serious mad) at their bf so they can be coaxed. It's kind of reserved only for close one (like boyfriend or loving dads).
I know people don't like the angst in 18-19 but I'm really enjoying it. It's really well done because I could understand both sides and why they reacted the way they do it. The angst is not for a stupid reason. TY could explain himself better but YH was not ready to hear him talk at all, so he didn't really have a chance. Her heart is close right now. I'm glad the drama didn't gloss this over because TY is the ML. It's normal to understand WHY someone did what they did, but not totally forgive them for it. YH usually give as much as she get, but she can't do that to TY whom she love, so the next best thing she can do is avoid him. No matter how kind and generous someone is, there's a limit. I think she has both a mixture of fear and disappointment toward TY, and that will be hard to undone.
SY gave TY trauma, and now he gave YH trauma. It's kind of sad but I look forward to him earning her trust back. She gave him her unquestionable trust since the beginning and he took it for granted.
Disappointed in the lack of communication in eps 18&19 and YH I felt it was a low blow to compare the stab to…
No she's right. TY deserve that. From YH perspective who didn't everything going on, what TY did to her is exactly what SY did to him. BETRAYAL at the moment you trusted the person the most. YH didn't know she wouldn't die so of course she would think he wanted to take her life. TY blindsided her like how SY blindsided him.
How he not deserved, when he gave up his life and immortality for her night before stab scene?? Just because he…
TY unconditional is not the same as YH. At this point, YH had done a lot of earn his trust and affection. Whereas, he had used and betrayed her right from the beginning. He wanted to take the scale out but couldn't, so it's not like he wanted YH to have it. YH on the other hand, could have walk away but still show up and save TY in the knick of time. She got into dangerous situation because he got into dangerous situation, and she help him to get his horn back. YH's kindness toward TY is more unconditional, and TY is only reciprocating at this point. Even then he still do some things that hurt her. In their relationship, there a lot of reciprocation but at some action is just too much. The scale is his, but the body and the pain is hers. Just because he did something nice (giving her the spell that she didn't ask for or know), doesn't mean it's free ride for him to stab her. It's very disrespectful. And he need to work through that. YH has been too nice to him and he walk all over her. That's just how I feel.
How he not deserved, when he gave up his life and immortality for her night before stab scene?? Just because he…
I wasn't aware what he gave her was his immortality. That does make me feel a bit better but it still hasn't change my mind. I understand that TY care for YH and has been treating her better, but YH still deserve more than that because she has done and is still is doing many things FOR him unselfishly, even before she like him. So far she has always been the reasonable and understanding one. I feel sorry for what happened to TY but he need to improve his treatment toward YH before I think he deserves her. He had a hard life but so did YH. For all her kindness and sincerity, I still think she deserve more right now.
Maybe unpopular opinion but I don't think TY deserve YH at all. There's no misunderstanding here. Even if TY explained himself, does it make what he did okay? The only way this could have been okay was that he asked for her permission. Technically it is his, and YH is very reasonable so she would have let him. However, TY was emotional, and he had taken YH's kindness for granted. He stabbed her and left her for dead KNOWING she is reasonable and kind. This is not a small "misunderstanding" here.
Unlike other drama, I think it's best they spend sometime apart. The big irony in the room here is TY being deeply hurt in the past, but is now doing the hurting toward another innocent person like YH - who has been nothing but kind to him. It's not like YH had an easy life to begin with. And unlike her bubbly character, all her actions so far have shown she's someone who's willing to sacrifices for others. She don't treasure herself as much as she said she does. And whether intentionally or not, TY had been taken advantage of her kindness.
TY need a lot of growing up to do. YH should not be paying the price for what SY done to TY. I don't want YH to forgive him so easily even if this is the OTP. I feel sorry for TY but I feel more sorry for YH.
It's over but I'm still not over the ending. The only thing soothing the pain is LYX and BL super, sweet, heart fluttering BTS and interview. Their chemistry and LYX phenomenal performance are my only comfort after going through what a torture of a series.
While watching the drama, I did not attack the heroine, as many people did here. But in the finale, she disappointed…
Same with me. I didn't attack LSS at all and always understood her motive. With the hope that at least in the end she will grow past her limit. But this character let me down at the end. She never "grow" and it was TTJ that brought her all the way to the finish line.
I do not like this ending at all. Artistically it make sense and LYX play it so so beautifully but I am very unhappy. I mean a series need its up and down, and I know they have a story to tell. But you also need to give viewers a sense of satisfaction. When you had trauma dump and emotionally tortured the character the whole drama, you need to at least reward the viewer a little bit. It is so frustrating and depressing that the reward TTJ earned in the end is "that". Yes, he got to choose his own fate - which is the ultimate lesson here, but is that all? Everyone got to choose and he suffered all that, to have the right to choose the worst possible decision for himself? Suffered and then sacrificed. What the hell is this? I love this series. The first 10 episodes were amazing. My heart was rooting for both of them. I accepted everything because I hope the end would be worth it. This ending is NOT WORTH IT. I'm not a HE bug but this is not it. The novel TTJ was 10x worse and he got a better ending than the drama TTJ. The lesson here is that - don't be nice because it will not reward you. And I was rooting LSS as well but in the end she disappointed me too. SMH
Wow the way I freaking SCREAM in this episode that even my neighbor's dog start barking and I'm not even 12. I've seen things 10x more explicit but this drama is just so good. For me, the only thing I care about is TTJ and LSS. We see a lot of growth from TTJ but we never quite understood LSS. But for me, in this episode, I don't think LSS believe anything TTJ said. She's not showing it outwardly but like TTJ, I felt like she is doing "pretend" with him as well. 90% of her know he's lying but 10% of her logical side is keeping her in check, telling her of course TTJ as DG would do this. But the other 90% of her is screaming bloody no. Her 10% is telling her of course she need to stop the DG, but her 90% is there because she need to be near TTJ. She doesn't even know what he's trying to do. She's speaking harshly. And that's why her lust dumping on him in his Bore life after her (logical side) have been trashing him this whole time make me scream. She can pretend all she want but she freaking love TTJ. If she truly believe he is so horrible and disgusting would this be what she chose to do? I'm glad that even if LSS learn nothing at all from Bore Life, she learnt this from Sang Jiu. Sometime you just need to let it go. So many things happened, so many emotions but so little time. All the angst that built up, the noble idiot, the misunderstanding, the "pretending", all the setup that have laid the foundation. And now we're here. Am I weird to love that scene? I really love it because it feel so bittersweet.
If it happens, his death will be the most stupid thing. Why die if he is concious and didn't become killing machine?…
TTJ is the devil fetus, so in a way he is only a "vessel". Devil God still exist, so even if TTJ doesn't become the Devil God, the real Devil God will come back in other ways. So TTJ need to become him, and end this cycle once and for all.
To be frank i'm REALLY tired of all the "misunderstandings". I know it was coming but it had been misused soo much at this point. I'm too tired to watch it, too emotionally drained to bear it anymore. I'm only here for TTJ and YXW and see their happy ending.
cang jiumin always gets me😠I just wanna cut those side hairs
devil god is the best styled, then Jing emperor, then as TTJ at YXW house. His first black and white flowy outfit look so good, ethereal in a delicate way on him.
their story not connection with main plot. idk why should Binchang need to comeback in immortal episode. The only…
yeah this drama didn't need a second lead couple since there so much story for the main couple already. i think maybe their part got cut down a lot. but there is literally no "story" about them. both character is just "functional" character. Xiao Lian added little to the story except being the person TTJ was mimicking in the beginning, but we could have a small side character for that and it work just fine. YBC as the villain is so stupid even the actress that play her say YBC is too stupid to do anything. Everything she did was so one dimensional and serve as a mechanism for the plot to move forward, and it's not even good.
Sorry but i literally skipped through all of GYJW and Bichang scenes. I don't care what either have to say, don't care about their story, don't care about Bichang redemption arc. She literally manipulate and playing tricks again - same old tired sh*t. I am not invested in her growth and she does not deserve it either. The only way this couple can redeem it for me is for Bichang to fall in love and GYJW to punish her in disgust. Otherwise, she need to stay off the screen. We don't have enough time for our leads, i dont want any seconds wasted on her. Just no.
Ngl, it was hard to watch TTJ being tortured AGAIN. The writer should change this series title to "The chronicle of torturingTTJ".
I'm so glad LSS finally came to protect her man. What a huge difference it make when we first saw her flying with her harp. That time she was coming to shoot TTJ. This time, she came to protect him. That was a nice little touch.
I'm so glad LSS finally came around and accept her love for TTJ, and trust him. He badly need it and more than earned it. Their sweet moment under the tree make me SCREAM. They had sweet moments before but this time it's different. It finally came from their heart. TTJ heart is now open and accepting of LSS. LSS heart is now without prejudice or fear of him. They deserve it so much -- (and the BTS is so sweet too >.< )
I know why people want the show to end here but there's still some things to tie it all down. The next episodes are going to be hard, but if LSS is going to trust TTJ and be his partner this time, I think my heart will be able to take it. LSS please come through.
I love LSS in that pink dress with the flower hair decoration when they went to Jing Capital. Wish we could see more of her in it. I prefer it over her "fairy" clothing tbh. And I rmb even LXY said it's his favorite costume on BL too..
