I think the show took the convenient path of resolving things too fast for the sake of the philosophies at the…
"If they properly balanced it out between theatrics, dramatics and philosophy?" man..... if only, i wouldnt hesitant to give it a straight 10/10. about the philosophical part toward the end part, i feel like its too 'narrated' / 'narrative' (???), i mean like they relied too much on dialogue to convey it (hence the rushed feeling,... maybe).
it was all perfect, the mystery, the pieces, the suspense, the atmosphere, the music, but then it come the conclusion,…
it just doesnt feel right that a cult that could amass quite a big followers, almost a whole town, manipulated a university's election, and quite discreet about communication, would go down from a single swing of phone call that they somehow voluntarily let slipped inside. love the students twist at the end tho, really satisfying lol.
it was all perfect, the mystery, the pieces, the suspense, the atmosphere, the music, but then it come the conclusion, too rushed, too sudden, the pace become all weird and too quick. everything get resolved all too fast.
ive re-watched it over and over again and it hasnt bored me even once, the story is one thing but the cinematography is really addictive, the scene and the music blend perfectly

"didn't feel the connection between the leads. They barely had scenes together & I couldn't understand why they couldn't move on from each other. " understandable, the plot itself kinda didnt permit them to have more scene together, but i personally think thats part of the theme (and the charm). for me its their personality and what each one been through in life at that point that attract them to each other. well to each their own :)

these slice of life story really hit different, right :D well chugakusei is indeed quite controversial in more than one way. its either 0 or 10 for the viewers lol
This drama has definitely sparked my interest for Japanese Dramas. Does anyone have any good recommendations?

35sai no shoujo (the end is kinda romance but this is all about family through and through) itoshi no nina (this might looks like a thriller or romance at first, but its also quite slice of life-y itself) kekkon aite wa chusen de (it can get quite political/bureaucratic but actually lot of slice of life theme with some romance) you and i on the gstring (this also a romance thats rather slice of life-y)
or if you havent, try chugakusei nikki (rather controversial romance yet amazing drama starring the actor of Hikaru here)
sasuga dorama all you gave us is that one sora smile ahahaha.
joke aside this drama is pretty hearwarming and all characters is interesting. not to discredit it but being an avid manga reader the highlight of this drama is definitely all those manga reference, particularly, the tatsuki fujimoto (and all his work) ones. oh and being on the less popular side of jmusic fandom im deeply enjoying the shade on jpop lol (sorry not sorry)

i was pretty sure 13 was involved in it some way or another but not this way. if you havent watch it you wont get what i mean anyway so imma not spoiler tag it lol.
i was so sure i got everything all right, until the raid was done. like i was thinking "if youve watched enough thriller the plot is way too obvious", or it might just be i havent watched enough kekw
