Youku is not the only sponsor of dramas that they air, so it's not entirely their fault that quality of The Immortal…
Coz, it is non-romance and only focus on Han Li (Yang Yang) but still it won lot of awards including Best Adaptation IP of the Year. Hoping also that the season will be better because rumored said that it has a budget of 600M yuan compare to S1 with only 300M yuan.
