The film overall was okay, interesting concept but slow at times. The intriguing part was the cop and the bad guy have a similar childhood yet they are on the opposite side of the coin. Yo I spot Takumi's cameo haha, really looking forward to the second film.
I NEEDED MORE LOVEY DOVEY SCENES!!MOOOOOOREEEEE!!!I DEMAND ANOTHER PROPER SEASON OF MAKI AND HARUTA!!!DOMESTIC…
Yeah, was a bit disappointed with that aspect however it was shown in the cinema in Japan and Hong Kong. I guess that's why they down-played the affectionate moments. At least we still have the show .
The build-up until the middle of the film was a bit slow. Things started to get interesting after the festival scene, the climax of the film is definitely the best part.
Was expecting more, I guess I forgot that Maki and Haruta don't have many moments together which is a shame, I couldn't find much difference in this story direction compared to the series, it did have some character growth tho with Haruta learning to take more initiative.
Yes, it is sad however I found the message to be inspiring. One was about to give up while the other was alienating himself from the crowd. They both helped each other and in the end, it paid off.
Although it was not explicit or whatever if you pay close attention to the body language of them both you could kind of notice they care a lot for each other.
Many may be disappointed it was not what they were expecting however it was a good film despite its tragic elements.
Although I'm all for Haruta getting together with the other main characters, I kind of feel bad for Hina (Lady character). She barely gets screen time to be invested or interested in from the viewers.
This episode got me thinking Haruta should read the mood but that's part of his character so it can't be helped. I'm not sure about the next episode, why showrunners would you introduce a new character one episode before it ends lol.
