This is getting harder and harder to watch, when you think shit hit the fan something even worse happens... I mean I like drama but it might be a little too much for my personal taste. At this point the only reason why I'm still watching this series is MawinAit relationship, the way they keep supporting each other time after time gives me life 💕
If I had to use only one word to describe this series I would say "ethereal". I'm totally invested and captivated but the characters and the plot, and it's just ep. 2! I can't wait for more!
Not sure how I felt about this and season 2, it went downhill at each series more and more, the acting is what stayed consistent (amazing performances from s1 to s3) but plotwise it was kinda meh... season 1 remains a masterpiece.
I loved this very much, simple plot, fluffy, with not too much drama but great chemistry between the leads, and the hugging/kissing felt so freaking real.
p.s. I would totally watch a spin-off series with the other 2 friends getting together :)
wow I was expecting to read more comments praising this series, I personally think it started off pretty convincingly, maybe because I'm just grateful to get the chance to watch another project involving Inn and Great (whom I adore) or because I love series set in this period. I honestly can't wait to watch episode 2!
After all the waiting I think I unconscioulsy had high hopes for this movie but I felt both actors were overacting, it just didn't come off as natural to me. And there's a couple of things which didn't really seem realistic either (like the guy has been living in Japan for 5 years and doesn't know how to use chopsticks? Really?). Overall it's not a bad movie, it depicts pretty well what it feels like to live in a country like Japan as a foreigner (as someone who also lived many years abroad I could totally relate). I'm glad this has a happy ending and that is sending a positive message about not giving up even when life hits you hard.
The 1st episode was pretty solid, I'm invested already and it's quite surprising since I can't even remember the last time I actually enjoyed a filipino drama :)
Bruh all those warm hugs and the kissing, their chemistry is insane, it feels so real, all BL producers out there should take note! This is my favorite BL at the moment and to know it's only 2 episodes left kinda breaks my heart tbh :/
