Historical dramas are among my favourites, but I admit this was not particularly good. At the beginning it was nice, the slow burning got me going but then it went really meh with the no chemistry/cringe nc scene and ended with wtf is that ending? Next.
They all have interesting personalities in their own way to be honest, I found myself rooting for Waner (maybe because my personality is similar to his in a way). I'm liking this so far, can't wait for next episodes.
So we had Takoi in full jealousy mode and next episode it's going to be Shiono's turn to be jealous! I'm sad this series is about to end, I already feel the mourning process happening :(
One thing I wonder is if Shionno's first love - "the police officer at the police box" - might be Takoi…
My thought exactly, If I've learned something by watching Japanese drama is that often times the main characters had already met somehow a long time before the story unfolds as we watch it and one the two is unaware of that or can't remember π
The girl is unbearable. Pi O is living a hell of a trauma and all she can says is "shit happens, time to move on" and takes advantage of him in his greatest moment of vulnerabilty by kissing him moments later he had just found out his long lost friend is dead? And the way she keeps throwing herself at him even when it's crystal clear he is not in love with her... What an incredibly annoying character.
It had started pretty solid and had so much potential with the threads plot but then it went downhill. I felt like the threads could have been used more... like, the plot could have gone smoothly even without Chia kai seeing them... And they focused way too much on side characters rather than the main couple. I liked the series but it felt underwhelming, maybe my expections were too high. 7/10
I kept coming back to this series only because of the relationship between Dech and Great, I literally skipped all side storylines which I found so incredibly boring and now their love culminates with the most uncomfortable and tensed sex scene I've seen in a while?!! Where was all that chemistry they had built up for 9 episodes??! Where??! C'mon... Glad next week it's the last episode, I'm still curious to know how they're going to end this but I'm so ready to move on from it already.
I know Otosan is old style and needs to be educated and even though at the end of the episode he wasn't against it, a part of me still wanted to punch him in the face. I guess it must be just me...
