Oh my gosh. Can't even discuss the dramas anymore. Here we go again.BUT. I am so over every bromance being a secret…
I personally am against bromance only if the series is based on an existing novel where the male leades had a proper romance and got censored into a bromance for whatever reason, otherwise I have nothing against original scripts where there's bromance going on (like in this case).
"Ending" ep. 7 like that was such a dirty move (considering we'll have to wait who knows how many years to watch season 3, it was lame af). Still, I really enjoyed this season and I do understand people complaining about this feeling like a filler but I would have watched another 20 episodes of this. Also, player number 120 was such a fucking badass 🔥
This show perfectly highlights why euthanasia should be legalized for terminal patients. It’s not about giving…
I couldn't agree more! And no one should be forced to endure endless pain just because their beloved ones are too selfish to let them go and fail to understand that by letting them die they're only doing their good!
So disappointed about how they turned Kan into a murderer in ep. 7, he killed Boss to save his ass, zero good intentions behind this, and all that "euthanizing terminally ill patients to give them dignity in death" (which had built up in the past 6 episodes) went straight into the trash. Now I wonder If he'll get away with murder in the last episode and If he'll end up with Wasan or not...
This is exactly the kind of mature BL I like the most, with grown up men dealing with serious matters (in this case even with controversial topics like euthanasia no less) and a love story as a backdrop. Really loving every bit of this, I just wish it was longer than 8 episodes.
This was so brilliantly directed, the build up of their bond in ep. 6 brought me slowly to heaven and when I was still smiling looking at them I got pulled back to the harsh reality in no time at the end of it. Painful af. Best JBL of 2024.
I liked it but honestly I was expecting more from the last episodes. I agree with those who said it felt rushed. Still, I'm very happy we get out first Chinese BL after so many years of censorship, I hope there will be more to come!
I was expecting a more angsty episode (the curse of ep. 11) but thank god it wasn't that painful. Also, I can't decide who's the winner for the shittiest parent of this series, Qi Lu's father or Ming Yang's mother? Hard to tell...
I was a bit annoyed but the music being too loud and covering the speech in some scenes but I'm loving the show so far. The 2nd couple is stealing the spotlight imo, they're so freaking hilarious!
