I'm loving that Japan is getting more and more of "adulter" BL characters (like 35+ or something) instead…
I agree, office romances are my favourite along with historical dramas set in the first half of the 20th century (i.e. Edge of Horizon, I Feel You Linger in the Air)
I was randomly listening to the OST of this masterpiece and I got overwhelmed by all the memories and feelings of their lovestory (the power of music is incredible!). This is probably one of the very first BL I've ever watched back in 2017 (I think) and I believe it's also one, If not the, best BL ever. I've watched hundreds of BL in the last decade but to this day Addicted still holds a very special place in my heart for so many reasons, I will never forget Bai Lou Yin and Gu Hai β€οΈ
Even knowing they're acting, those scenes with that old perv are so disturbing to watch, and to think these horrible things happen irl somewhere, it just makes me sick π
What is wrong with Changyang's sister?! Instead of being happy for her brother and for being able to see and talk to her idol irl basically whenever she wanted, she chose to sabotage his brother and idol's happiness over her delusional ship?! crazy work.
I really really really hope Tinn knowsHe's gotta right? They keep mentioned how smart he is + this scene where…
I think it's one of those thinks you deliberately don't want to see because you're so in love and everything is perfect (they got a house, domestic life, lots of sex haha) that you don't want to ruin it... but yeah deep inside he knows I think, he just doesn't want believe his Phob could hide something this big from him.
Thin so blinded by his love for Phob that decides not to see huge red flags like him going through his briefcase TWICE or Phob basically telling him he's going to do some really bad shit in the near futureπ
Let me rewatch this episode a thousand times for a week and live in this bubble of endless love before shit hit the fan!
I might be wrong but I feel like Seung Ho doesn't really like anyone in that house.
He really loves the attentions he receives and just decides to go along with anyone who manifests an interest towards him. The reason why he keeps saying he prefers Jin Woo over Hye Yeon or Yong Kyu is because he's sure Jin Woo is only interested in him and would pick him 'till the end (Jin Woo basically has been very clear about it and didn't make it a secret).
And the end of ep. 11 just confirms my theory, it only took Hee Jin to plant the tiniest doubt about Jin Woo possibly being interested in someone else to shatter his convictions in an instant, the guy was so upset and lost when he realized he might not be Jin Woo's final choice that he couldn't even stay with Jin Woo and Hee Jin in that kitchen but he had to leave the house to sort out this thoughts. π€
As for Chae Be, I really feel bad for him, the guy is really into Yong Kyu who is not interested in him at all, which makes me wonder: why the hell did you ask him where he was If you had planned not to reply and fall asleep immediately after sending that message? The poor Chae Be was really hoping to see Yong Kyu appear at the beach to spend some time with him... Heartbreaking. π
Super strong start with ep.1, we finally got to see what Jin Man was doing while Ji An was living pure hell in that house. Just finished watching ep.2 and I'm hooked already. So far this sequel did not disappoint, fingers crossed for the upcoming episodes.
Apart from the ending being rushed and a questionable use of the AI (even a child could have guessed that last scene of them on a beach at sunset was super fake) I really loved this series, it felt like a top quality mystery/thriller Kdrama but with a gay love story and not a straight one. 9/10
