The moment I saw him in Manner of Death years ago my BL mind immediately thought "Omg, I want this handsome guy to be in a BL as the main lead" and now he is, doing a great job!
The pace is kinda slow and not much is happening but I love seeing them being so lovely to one another, also they're a great example of what a healthy relationship looks like with them clearly communicating with each other. And the fact they're both smoking hot also is definitely a plus :)
p.s. Did they edit/add the scene where Cher and Oye talk about Thailand's Senate passing the final reading of the marriage equality law? I mean I suppose they ended shooting months ago so I was really surprised (and happy)!
As a fan of the JP version and manga I have zero complaints about Gemini's acting (those who keep saying his acting in this is bad probably didn't watch the JP version or read the manga 'cause that's exactly how his character is supposed to be (a serious, diligent, perceived as distant/cold boy who knows shit about romantic relationshps and is confused af due to his lack of experience).
If anything it's Fourth character that is not as silly/goofy as the one in the JP version/manga, but still I think that's not the issue here, Fourth is doing a decent job.
The chemistry also seems to be ok.
Nonetheless, there IS something that feels a little off but I still can't put my finger on after 3 episodes... If somebody feels the same way and has an idea about what this may be, feel free to leave a comment below. Either way I'll keep watching, it's lighthearted and it's perfect to help me disconnect from my daily life.
Maybe they put too many irons in the fire in one episode (usual lovey-dovey of our couple, misunderstanding, separation AND reconciliation), I feel like they should have waited 'till next episode for them to reconciliate, like it happened all too fast and I personally got surprised when the kiss happened but I didn't feel all it should have meant, not the actors' fault but the script imo.
p.s. I want to punch Dr. Ter in the face so much right now
I agree with people in the comments saying the teaser was a bit lacking... hopefully it's going to be good 'cause I like this couple so fingers crossed
Another series that revolves around the misunderstanding trope Jap BLs seem to love so much... this time they even added an extra layer of misunderstanding/miscommunication by actually mixing up the messed-up feelings of the main characters (Shirasaki and Hayame) with the ones they play in the series (Ryouji and Takumi), like wtf 💀
I'm not sure but this might be the 1st series where I don't mind the slow pace, I think I could watch these 2 freaking handsome guys being cute and lovely to each other for another 10 episodes without much happening storywise, call me superficial and naive but just watching them together makes me feel so happy.
After the bittersweet toxicity of My Stand-In I really need some comforting cuddle from this series, I can't wait for next ep. only 9 hours 38 minutes to go, oh yes
Woah the toxicity levels are increasing exponentially at each episode and I kinda hate it but also like it at the same time, does that make any sense? Like I'm super intrigued about what's coming next despite all the frustration this series is giving me 😊

p.s. This is my favorite series followed by My Stand-In as of now! God bless Thailand 🇹🇭
