What a sad episode. While I may understand the reasons why Mhok lied, that was a big mistake. He screwed up big time the moment he lied to Day out of pity 'cause that's exaclty what Day hates the most (and Mhok knew it very well) so to be honest I wasn't really surprised when he decided to break up with Mhok. How could he continue being in a relationship with him not knowing If his partner is telling him the truth or not? At this point I have no clue what to expect from the last episode...
That Minato guy got on my nerves, a sneaky, subtle fellow who first treated Sahara like crap, then rejected him and now he's trying to get him back after having eavesdropped/spied on Sahara-Toki moments not once but twice... Despicable.
Less than 1 day for next ep. and I kinda want to watch it so bad but also not at all lol, I don't think I'm ready for the angst... Please BL Gods save our babies ❤️
I thought the reason why Mhok was crying in that (in)famous last scene of ep. 9 was because he knew Day was about to go completely blind and therefore was devastated (just like all of us) but Jimmy explained that Mhok is someone who can take care of everyone (not just Day) on his own (i.e. we see him protecting Porjai from her ex and let her stay at his place) so the reason why Mhok is crying is because that was the first time he couldn't do anything for Day, he couldn't help him.
From ep. 1 up until that very moment Mhok had always managed to help Day somehow (when Day didn't want to leave the house, see his friends or when he hit his foot against the table so he bought him those cute slippers, etc.) but in that situation he felt powerless. I admit I hadn't thought about this at all, so his explanation really helped me better understand the character of Mhok and love him even more. ❤️
I honestly don't think the surgery will go well (and that's fine by me) 'cause there's scenes we still haven't seen in William's MV where Day still seems to be blind and it's probably from the last episode as I believe in next ep. Day will spend the whole time in the hospital. But I obviously might be wrong.
From what I know, there's no literal translation into Japanese to "I love you". Is it true? It's usually an expression…
To literally say "I love you" you would use aishiteru (愛してる) but it's basically almost never used in spoken/everyday japanese, they normally use suki da despite the fact it literally means "I like you," especially if it's used in a more serious, heartfelt way.
Oh and btw, someone might not know this but in Japanese “The moon is beautiful, isn't it?” (月が綺麗ですね | tsuki ga kirei desu ne) is a more poetic way of saying "I love you." Knowing this adds a lot more meaning to those 2 scenes in ep. 10.
Karan got some balls of steel for confessing his love in front of everyone on that boat! I'd be so embarassed! 😅 But that also shows he really couldn't repress his feelings anymore, he had to let it out ❤️ I'm really loving this series, TayNew always deliver!
wow that last scene was powerful, Babe really delivered, I could feel all his pain and desperation, I got goosebumps all over and then I cried 😭 I can't believe it's his first project, he's really killing it! ♥️
Bruh I just wanted to point out how wholesome are the comments here, so much positivity, good vibes, I don't have anybody to watch this with but I feel like I'm not alone 'cause I know you're all loving this series as much as I do and I feel part of something great so thanks a lot guys, reading your comments and agree or even disagree about something you write makes me so happy! ❤️
Thank god this episode was not as angsty as I had thought it would be (after that last scene of ep. 9 I don't know If I could have gone through more sorrow), I love how this time the focus of the episode was on Day's relationship with his brother and mom and their family as a whole trying to sort out their problems. I was hoping this episode would save me from tears but nope, the Day-Night beautiful scenes (Mark was killing it here) and that Xmas dinner with their mother made me cry once again. But I'm glad it ended on a very positive note.
P.s. I can't stress enough how good Sea's performance in this series is, that moment when Day heard Mhok calling his name at the hospital, his face expression completely transformed, he literally lit up he couldn't contain his excitement (that smile when they walked away together omg, so freaking adorable). That was such a precious moment imo. ❤️
wow so many surprises in this episode, I was not expecting Sahara being so honest with Toki opening up about his weaknesses and insecurities, the guy really cares a lot about him. And the old crush showing up like that, I didn't see that coming either. This is going to spice things up and I'm so ready for it!
i know that for sighted person it is hard to understand but functioning and moving as a blind person without any…
so true and Sea's acting is mindblowing, when I see his interviews I always go "oh, right he's not blind in real life", he's really doing a great job at portraying a blind person.
p.s. This series is truly amazing ❤️
