This episode was all about fighting 💀 Jeez, I'm exhausted! Seeing Peach willing to be treated like crap by Shin over and over again because he loves him is really the definition of a toxic relationship. And no matter what Shin will do or say in the last episode to make up with Peach, I still believe Peach deserves way better than Shin (or Guy).
Bro, there's so many things happening and it's all very interesting/intriguing:
- the recurring dreams of Phaya - Tharn's premonitions and the people he wronged in his past life who are coming for him - the hunt of the serial killer - the constant (incredibly hot) flirting/bickering between Phaya and Tharn - and now the doctor is super sus, he knew about Phaya's dreams and obviously it's not Tharn who told him...
This series is currently my favorite one, I'm obsessed ❤️
Omg tears just won't stop coming down from my eyes, this story was so beautifully told I have no words right now and even though I could somehow foresee the ending, I'm still heart wrenched 😢
This feels like a BL from 2016 with the amount of clichés used like the tripping over nothing into my future husband arms (with infinite awkward staring) in episode 1, the assisted fastening belt in the car with the inevitable getting too close (and once again awkward staring contest of course), the getting drunk and taking back home (first Liu Li, now Gu Jing), the turning face resulting in an "accidental" kiss on the lips... All these made me roll my eyes more than once ngl 🙄
But the biggest issue in my opinion is the lack of a substantial plot and most importantly a good chemistry between the leads, like I literally feel nothing when they are close to each other, but then again it might be me, who knows. I'll be honest, the only reason I'll keep watching this is Stan Huang, I'm shallow af I know but the guy is so handsome I feel happy just looking at him lol 😍
I'm glad they sticked to the japanese version and it's giving off the same soft/cute vibes which is what I liked the most about the original one. TayNew are doing a good job so far 😊
It just gets better at each episode! I'm really enjoying this, the plot is super intriguing with a good balance of comedy/drama/mystery/romance, the acting is good and the leads have incredible chemistry. I'm so surprised by the overall quality of this show which has quickly become the series I look forward to watch the most every week (the preview for the next episode got me so excited!)❤️
p.s. that smooth transition from the French cheek kissing to the Goodnight kiss on the lips was so unexpected lol 😍
