On that note i wanna ask does it have happy ending and does it have a major cliffhanger or something.

I am not denying that the shows with competent FL are still in minority but what i wanna say is that shows with competent FL are more common than you realize The 3 shows i watched last month are "Lady of law" , "who rules the world " and "A Dream of Splendor" and if you have seen any one of them you will realize how badass the FLs are in each one of them and that's just last month.

SO my point is these kind of dramas are getting more and more common and there are many great writers that are creating these awesome female characters in there show and so the character of FL in this show has less to do with the society and more to do with personal preferences of the writers of this particular show.

Again just to make it clear i am not saying society has nothing to with this cuz it does but more that that this show shows the mindset of writers and director of this show rather than the whole society.

Yeah i noticed, I started watching this and i am annoyed already i don't know if i can continue this. I like ML and FL chemistry a lot but on the other hand i hate anything and everything about SML.

I know there is not a lot of romance in this one but i just wanna know does ML and FL spend a lot of time( screen time ) together. and also is there a harem here like is there multiple ladies that are into ML. I do not like romance in this type dramas but i do like when there is ML and FL that fight together and spends lot of time together without much explanation or title to there relationship. I DON'T MIND SPOILERS.

Well i can name literally 50 other shows that have truly competent and independent women that thinks rationally and are in no way lesser than there male counterpart. A good recent example is a show called "Lady of law". I don't think its entirely because of the "China's deeply patriachal society," its simply because of the writers and director of this show chose to go with this type of story despite the fact that they could have chosen entirely different route to the story.

i think they are talking about "Hyde, Jekyll and Me" or " Kill Me, Heal Me" that's the only two i remember.

I am going to watch couple of episodes to see weather i can stomach these love "polygons" I really hate this type of love triangle where you already know from the start that leads are going to end up with each other then what's the point of having love triangle at all its just annoying and irritating. if you wanna have love triangle then have true love triangle where viewers genuinely don't have any idea. I think there are very few kdrama's like that.

First of all let me say this. This is the fastest reply i have ever got in MDL its crazy. As for the show i really want to watch this story wise it seems like my type of show but on the other hand i despise love triangle, harems or reverse harems. i am having hard time choosing weather to watch this or not.

Judging from all the comments here this seems to have heavy love triangle can anyone explain all the pairing so far, in details. I don't mind spoilers.

Had a potential to be much, much better than this. Still an ok show. Can't help but feel a little disappointed though.

I agree with you completely it’s not about showing us sex scenes it’s about Charecters becoming more and more comfortable with kiss and “skinship”as the show progresses there are literally hundreds of other Cdrama where this happens. For example “forever and ever “or “you are my glory”. It’s not that you cannot show that in china it’s that this show chose not to.

Finally someone who likes “meeting you” as much as I do. I wonder why that drama doesn’t get more recognition. Can you recommend more drama like meeting you.
