There is not anything inherently regressive about seme/uke/top/bottom like some in fandom nowadays think. It’s…
Unfortunately we live in a society like that. Brute strength is considered as strong. We need nuanced and flawed character that grow slowly as the story moves . We had both Thin's strong moments and Phob's weak moments. Thin's love is more strong than any stupid weak fragiled ego tops.

Exactly switch couple doesn't make them more strong unless how character arc designed throughout the story. Again strength comes in different ways. Thin cannot physically fight like Phob but he is courageous enough to stand against his father who is a powerful unlike Phob standing against his mom. He didn't have courage before the leap but now we can see it. Oh yeah the top characters too. That's sad because of assumption that strong physique and top in the bed equals to strong character. So dumb and weak fragile ego top characters hide behind this assumption and never questioned. Don't say sorry. It's nice to have nuanced discourse and I love it too.

Exactly that's my point too. I don't know where this notion came that uke is powerless. Unfortunately we also had BLs that made uke doormat characters which reinforced the stereotypes. So the defence was to have switch couples. But writing strong characters is important. Strength doesn't come only with physique. Thin is not a bulky guy like Phob. Yet, he is strong enough to protect Phob from his father and stand against him to fight for his love.
Has Inn ever spoke about the mark on his hand? Was he born with it?
He didnt speak about it I think If I can recall. But it was revealed by Jan to Thin at episode 4 that Phob was scammed by noblemen and he got hurt during the fight with them.
I love how this show balances this aspect which I noticed. Phob and Thin are not a switch couple. But this switch aspect was not even needed to show the strength of both characters. Both are strong and vulnerable in different ways. Unlike other shows, Thin as uke equally loves and stands up for his love as much as Phob or even more. It doesn't matter he is uke/seme, Thin is a strong character. Some might find Seme/Uke as regressive but I don't because I feel how they have intercourse has nothing to do with their personality. These words become regressive how we use in a context. Guys this is just my observation , anyone can disagree.
When Phob said - How long he waited for this, I totally believe him. That's why he is angry everytime seeing Thin's father who ruined their moment 11 years ago.
I don't hate Chat nearly as much as I hate Phob's mother. She is, by far, the most frustrating character in this…
Tbh I could understand her but after last episode she is frustrating. She almost exposed their affair to Chat and still blaming her son for the affair after 11 years too.
I just feel only Chat has seen Thin and Phob together so many times in this series, yet he is not getting it. Even if Phob is kissing Thin, he would go and save Thin thinking Phob is biting Thin's lips. 😭 please give some sense to Chat.
It is all worth atleast for me. It period BL drama set in 1932 Thailand. It has forbidden love between prince and servant. Then we also have revolution against monarchy. If you like such backdrop then this series will become your favourite.
i was wondering what here folks think about Knot, i expected bigger discussions here :D
I was thinking about it too. Eventhough Knot is following omegaverse trope it's not adding much to the plot to make it interesting as of now unlike Desire which was intriguing . Desire used ABO trope to enhance it's storytelling. Hua Yong could be Fan Xiao or any other obsessive ML (To My Shore) but his enigma trait added flavour to his personality.
Don't say sorry. It's nice to have nuanced discourse and I love it too.
