I want to watch this so bad. The trailer itself looks gorgeous, like the production value and cinematography, and gives Goblin & Doom at Your Service vibes...
only 4 episodes have aired. the subber hasn't dropped the project, it does take time and effort to sub dramas…
I mean, even kdramas and Cdramas are subbed on a weekly basis... since their new episodes are released every week. For jdramas, fansubbers usually release maybe 4-5 days after an episode is aired, so it's not comparatively slow at all. It depends on the person who is subbing.
And yeah, Japanese companies don't seem to think there is a market overseas so they don't make their content available easily and subbed. We just have to support jdramas and jmovies on official platforms so they realize there is a major audience.
this is why i don't watch j drama, I am almost turning 80, while waiting for episodes to be subbed. I am thankful…
This is a bit rude. Most fansubbers release subs every week and they work hard to do so. We don't know anything about mikilove, maybe they are really busy with their own life. Plus, it's just been a couple of weeks... at least wait a month or so before you judge them...
Japanese movies are really good. I can rec some good ones, if you like?
My Rainy Days, Hope, ReLIFE, The Master Plan, Liar x Liar, Our 30 Minute Sessions, Until I Meet September's Love, and this is a drama but same vibes as this movie, This Corner of the World

I don't think we will be able to see the raw for a while. It's available on a major streaming platform in Japan but we need to set up an account and foreign credit cards don't work :(
