I mean, I understand that men tend to be idolized for philandering while women are put down for their sexuality but I absolutely will judge people for infidelity, no matter the gender. It's gross no matter who does it.

Most of them tend to be really cringey, abbreviated and have bad acting, imo; a lot of people watch these and assume all j-media is like that. Of course, there are quite a few good adaptations, e.g. Horimiya, Marry me!, etc. but they seem to be the exception rather than the norm.

I would advise not going for live action adaptations and the more problematic dramas/movies; there are so many good jdramas and movies.
