No, I think thay Aoi Wakana's character is one of those antisocial, quiet types who look down on outgoing people but never try to open up or improve themselves. Besides, based on the other girland her friends' comments when they saw Aoi's drawings, the judge and other characters at the trial were fictional and just drawn by Aoi.

The only terminal illness Japanese drama I'll watch... like they should stop making more of this genre, because this drama was the peak. What a heartwarming story, I love their interactions and I love this couple, this is one of the best romance dramas I've seen. Their chemistry was off the charts and the cinematography was gorgeous (where did they film this? what a pretty seaside town!). I love all the characters and all the warm messages in this. I cannot recommend this drama enough, even if it made me cry like I haven't in a long time... 9.5/10. Thanks Hpriest for subbing this!

It doesn't even feel like they're acting. It feels more like the audience is present during a real life couple's emotional or romantic moments. When they cry, I cry and when they laugh, I laugh. One of the best romance dramas I have ever seen.
