It's a "wanna-be" crime drama that ends up being a family life drama dedicated to a police woman mistreating her husband for no reason and neglecting her child, leading her marriage into divorce and then complaining as if she's innocent lol
If she doesn't have multiple personalities disorder then she's just a bjtch

The case takes a back seat in the plot and all the episodes are dedicated to her mistreating her husband 😒
I came here for the crime solving. And the only thing we're solving is how toxic is gonna be Ran Dong

Yeah. It's fine if you want to divorce, it's fine if you don't want your husband anymore but it's not fine to neglect your daughter, it's not fine to mistreat your husband like that . It's not fine one moment to ask for divorce and insult him and the next moment say that he gave up to you very easily. She has broken him emotionally. She suffocates everyone around her. A good police officer but a horrible wife and mother.
With such a horrible wife how he didn't cheat for 14 years lol. I mean I'm against cheating and I hate it but this wife asks for it. She's something else lol

She's married with her husband 11 years and they had a relationship for 3 years before that. Overall they are together 14 years. At the beginning she was affectionate towards him . Over the years she focused too much on her job and solving the crimes. She ended up never going back home at nights. She literally works 24x7 a week. Her husband Mu Da Fu takes care of their daughter. He cooks , does the laundry , he helps the kid with the school studies, he drops the kid to school and he's overall a very good father. Also he's very tolerant towards Ran Dong. He goes to her work and brinks her food because he doesn't want her to be hungry. He is begging her constantly to come home and rest but she always denies saying that she has to find a murderer. Whenever she's home she's always angry with him and she is insulting him non stop calling him a cheater ( he never cheated by the way). From eps 3 to 12 she asks for divorce claiming that she doesn't love him anymore. He cried (because he loves her) , he never wanted a divorce but after the many insults that she doesn't love him he eventually agreed to give her a divorce. The funny thing is that when they signed the papers she then told him "why did you gave me divorce so easily ? Don't you love me ? "
What are you talking about bjtch ? 😅 Is she out of her mind ? She was asking for divorce in every episode from 3 to 12 and she was a horrible neglectful wife and mother. And when she gets what she wants she becomes sad LOL . The only thing she's good at is solving crimes. This woman should never had a child. She's a good professional but a horrible morher.
Poor Mu Da Fu faqkin still loves her after all those years and he feels hurt everytime she says she doesn't love him . He wants to change her mind and save their marriage but she constantly denies him. And let's not talk about their sex life the latest years. It was horrible. I wonder how the hell he hasn't cheated. This dude deserves a medal. She should had divorced her ages ago and also the custody of the child because if the kid stay with her she won't take care of it properly. She is an incapable mother. Only good for catching murderers

No 😅 I've watched 12 eps and I regret it

I've watched 12 eps so far.
As I said in my previous comments Ran dong is an excellent policewoman but her job is really time consuming and exhausting. She's a terrible wife and a terrible mother. She works 24x7 without breaks and has zero time to spend with her daughter and husband. When she suspected that her husband might cheats on her she freaked out , she treats him like rubbish and she repeatedly asks for divorce. Mu DaFu still loves her and he never actually cheated (even though he booked the rooms ). They end up getting divorced and then Ran Dong gets angry of him because he signed the divorce papers. What the faqk ? You ask for a divorce and you humiliate your husband and when he agrees to divorce you are sad ? What kind of stupid phychology is this?
As a woman I always support women in dramas but in this drama Ran Dong is very very wrong. He treats her loving husband as rubbish, every day she was insulting him and telling him that she doesn't love him and he was crying and their daughter was scared and when he finally agreed to divorce her she was ...."why did you agreed so easily, don't you love me ?"
I wanna punch her in the face.
For 10 faqking long episodes we were watching Ran Dong mistreating Mu Da fu , telling him she doesn't love him , then asking him if he had a mistress (which he didn't) , telling him she wants divorce and then after those 10 episodes when he finally agreed to sign the papers (and crying when he did so) she was like...."So you signed so easily huh ? " What the fack is wrong with her.

If only Fan Zhi Xin was the main male lead.....🥺

It's sad because he still seems to love her. I understand why she doesn't like him anymore. I also respect her as a police officer. She's an amazing woman. But I really think she should focus more on her child. It's fine if she wanna divorce. But she mustn't work 24x7 in my opinion. Her daughter needs a mother. She must return earlier from work and not stay overtime every single day. That poor child needs her mom and now that Ran is divorced Mu Dafu won't be around to cook, do the shopping, clean and care for the kid. She must now focus on the kid more. Who's gonna take care of the child if she's out all day ?! She must now face her responsibilities as a mother and work only the proper hours and not overtime.
Besides that, I still wonder if he has committed a crime. I saw a raw trailer from ep12 in Iqiyi app and she was accusing him again for murder. Weird..... let's see.

I binge watched 10 episodes in 1 day lol.
We're solving one big case throughout the drama and we're also watching police officer Ran trying to solve the marriage crisis she has with her husband. He clearly loves her and cares about her and their daughter. I consider him a very good father and a good enough husband. On the other hand Ran is very focused in her job. She works 24x7 with no breaks and that has a huge impact into her marriage. She's a strong-willed career woman and a perfect policewoman but she's struggling with her personal Life. I think she and her husband really love each other. Ran has forgotten her love and she's focused on the murder cases but I'm sure she'll somehow work out her relationship with her husband. They disserve a 2nd chance. But even if they divorce it could be for the better. Ran has a problem into balancing career and family. She's exceptional at her job but she has distant herself from her family. Her husband also isn't as honest as he used to be but he's not a bad husband in my opinion. He has flaws but I also find big flaws in Ran also. She's absent from her house frequently and never spends quality time with her family due to her strict job schedule

I wanna watch this so badly but there are no subs. I've watched only 2 eps raw and it's so intriguing

There is a law for Chinese dramas . In order to earn the broadcast license the main protagonists must be ethical. If the main protagonists do something illegal they must be imprisoned or die by the end of the series. We don't know much about Qin Li but we surely know that he's possessive , he likes to control every move of his wife and he has many secrets. At this rate the end of his character won't be good.
For example in the drama "The liar's love" which is similar to this one , the main male lead whom kept secrets from his wife ended up in jail by the end of the drama. The drama industry is bound by the Chinese broadcasting law that forbids main leads from being morally unethical. If a leading character do something bad or illegal he/she must be punished in the drama.

In normal life we must NEVER tolerate an abusive husband.
But since this is only a drama and we're watching it for entertainment, I have to say that Fan Zhi Xin is nailing it and that Qin Li's role is hot 😅
