It's one of the most horrible endings I've watched.
I've watched sooooo many historical/Xianxia dramas and so many historical k dramas, but "The wolf" is literally from the saddest lol
They deserved better after all those horrible things they've been through in order to be together. It's so sad.
My personal favourite episodes were the first 2 , when they both were teens and naively they fall in love.
As adults, they've been so hurt that they couldn't trust much one another.

In ep 9 preview , PGW says to Lee Tae "Can you truly accept the daughter of the one who murdered your mother ?"

Yo Jung's father helped Lee Tae's mother to commit suicide ?? What the heck is happening ? How Yo Jung's father was implicated in the Quinn's death (except agreeing to marry his daughter to Lee Tae)
I thought Yo Jung's father was a victim .....
Does PGW lie so he can separate them ?
Is this his weapon ? To separate those two so he can deal easier with Yo Jung ?

When PGW says "Tyrant kind" he means the late King that he basically helped to kill.
He calls him a tyrant because he was loving the honest Sarim people and wanted to help them rise to the court . The existing nobility hated the Sarim because they weren't royals , so they killed the king . So why the hell the late king was a "tyrant" ? He just wanted to add to the court some more capable Sarim officials. It was the damn nobility that named him a tyrant. PGW calls him a tyrant when in reality that poor king was bacically more democratic.
In this scene we see how twisted PGW's personality is.
He thinks he does the best for his country ,by protecting the corrupted nobility. All he does is harming the country by killing kindhearted kings like Lee Tae's father or pressuring Lee Tae to become a cruel king. And if Lee Tae won't manage to become cruel , I bet PGW will soon kill him as well. He's a freak that sees himself as a king maker . He thinks of himself as the true foundation of Joseon. The man that help the kings become perfect. He thinks he's a mastermind lol.
Take some "Yo Jung action " Minister PGW and see what rubbish you are 🔥
He hates her but he also admires her courage.

I hate lady Cho , but if she wanna kill someone then she should pick Lee tae. It was him who used her in order to gain political power. Yo Jung is innocent.
At least Lee Tae never slept with lady Cho. For once in his life he was honest. I'm glad he didn't used her that much. He only stopped at making her his concunbine.
All that aside , I hate lady Cho and I hate how she's spoiled by everyone and how badly she treats her poor servants. She's a bjtchy type of a woman.
But I can't overlook the fact that Lee Tae tricked her into falling in love with him (in ep 2) in order to marry her and have her father as his ally. Lady Cho sucks but Lee Tae's behaviour wasn't better at all.
At least he has a noble reason for doing all that.
He needs minister of war in order to reform the court and add more good Sarim people as officials and ministers. His noble intentions make me forget how cunning he was when he tricked the damn lady Cho

They will censor the shjt out of him.
That's how drama censorship works. We won't even see on screen a 10% of his dark personality

Lol he's so pissed of with her at the moment that
he'll lie as always and then kill them all one by one and put their heads in the palace's gates on display
PGW always bites back whenever he gets provoked.
Lee Tae learned that lesson the hard way

She's so spoiled by her father (War minister) that she'll definitely want to kill Yo Jung. If I was at her place I would want to kill Lee Tae for pretending to be in love with me. I wouldn't turn against the 2nd woman. But she's a bjtch and she can't tolerate competition for Lee Tae's heart. She thinks that just because her father loves her and spoils her , every man in the world will do so. She mistreats her servants with flogging etc.
I don't feel sorry for her anymore that Lee Tae is using her. She's a bad behaved woman, unworthy of love.
Even if Lee Tae makes her a queen , I'm sure he won't sleep with her. There's no way the writers will do such a thing. He's definitely will keep avoiding her until the end of the drama
