The OG movie has lots problematic stuff but grooming is not one of them. But I hope in the remake they make it with the modern mindset and make it university student and teacher rather than school. As long the remake is not homophobic like the OG and corrects the student and teacher plotline it has the potential to be a very heart-wrenching good drama. And yes for god's sake let s hope this time the actors have chemistry because in the OG none of the lead had chemistry whether it was straight couple or gay couple.
