People in twitter seem divided though. I will not understand how can people still sympatize with Gaon's character. Yohan and Eli also had a tough childhood especially Yohan but none of them turned out to be a dumbass

I felt pity for him till the mid-season like I understand he is new to this corrupted crazy world of rich and politics and ofc he would believe the people who he knew for the most of his life but when Yohan started to give him so much evidence and hints about the real enemy what did Gaon did? Nothing instead he got even dumber and got manipulated by literally everyone. He didn't even use his brain or instinct or sixth sense or whatever but blindly let other people take control of his mind and actions. And honestly, Soo Hyun would have been a great character if she helped in Gaon's character development rather than being a just romance trope for him. What a waste she was till the end.

But after midseason, I stopped feeling pity for him. If I was Yohan I would have cut Gaon out of my life and my plan a long time ago. There is a limit to how much stupidity I can swallow from the Main Character. The scriptwriter did a bad job writing Gaon's character and the actor's acting didn't help either. I had such a high expectation but more than half of it went to waste.

Beyond Evil becomes even more amazing in my 2nd watch. Chef's kiss! Yes the plotline wasn't something new but the execution of the plot, the character development and how every single character had important purpose to the storyline! One of the best drama for me !

please tell I can't handle this series anymore

At this point I want Gaon to drown in his guilt for the rest of his life and rot for all I care! He was annoying from the get go and throughout the series, he got even more annoying I was so excited to see his character progression but forget about progression it deteriorates to a dumber level !!!!

I just want Yohan and Elijah to have a happy ending and others can go to hell!

Worth the watch yes but the worth of such a high rating no IMO

Though keep in mind I am only at ep 4, I can't even distinguish his confused face, thinking face, or angry face. All his expression looks identical so it's very hard to feel anything for him and his line delivery is not good and on top of that his character is a moron. I am not even enjoying the bromance because of how naïve and easily he gets manipulated by everyone. From the get-go, Gaon disliked Yohan because others told him too but not because Yohan did something to him personally.

And people think Han Jowon is annoying from the Beyond Evil series when that guy had every right to dislike and be suspicious of Lee Dong Shi.

I really REALLY didn't expect to enjoy this series as much as I am. Though I am only still at ep 12 I will comment again after I am done with the series

With that ending, there will be an s2 for sure! Maybe it will focus on the teacher and we will get to see our boys from time to time!

I think people who are taking this show seriously is actually missing all the fun. I watch this show as a stress reliever lol.

I see how people are getting annoyed and complaining in dramacool comment section of s1 and s2 episodes but me? I am laughing so hard at how toxic and idiotic everyone is! whenever someone dies I am smirking cuz ofc no one really dies in this series except for poor Min Seol And the crazy mother-daughter duo is funny especially their expressions when they are screaming lol. This is such a hilarious show.

How is the romance and how annoying is the FL?

Does this end in a cliffhanger? I wanna start watching this series but I saw the ending was hinting at possible s2 and if it is true then I would hold off from watching until s2 comes out

I have just finished S2 and can't wait to start S3 but as it is still airing I will wait till ep 13 comes out. I really hope they will make S4 this show is so ridiculously hilarious. A good way to pass time during lockdown
