Ok so basically from from ep 27 JYL decided to go solo becasue he knew third master is someone they know and he has already lost two of his trusted subordinates so he plans with the comissionar Bia to go solo to bring out real mastermind and to protect CYZ from getting killed like his subordinates. In mental facility JYL knew that his converasation with CYZ is being observed so he pretends behaving badly with CYZ. CYZ has no idea about this plan so he does get hurt and because his reactions seems to be real Junbai starts to believe that JYL has really changed his side. If you notice carefully in ep 28 and 29 JYL tries to signal CYZ with his eyes but unfortunately CYZ doesn't understand those signal..

Yes it's very unfortunate if you have seen all the deleted scene s than you know yes except two three scenes others deleted scenes doesn't makes sense to be cut like that. Bandaging someone's wound is now too inappropriate? I mean what the hell hahaha...it's sad that the cast had such an amazing chemistry but the editing literally butchered it! I am happy at least this one is safe from Mango's editing team.

With Killer and Healer they deleted the "bl" scenes way before they even submitted to the censorship board but with The Confidence it was the censorship board didn't let them pass and had to go through few rounds of editing.

Unlike Tencent, Youku or Iqiy...Mango is not that powerful or doesn't probably have connection with higher up who will be a little leeway with censorship for their dramas. Also the way mango's team edits well if you are watching K&H then you know...Mango has a very bad reputation in China for their editing skills.
