Easy there tiger, no where in my comment did i indicate that i want a paper and Mary Sue FL. I said that her being suspicious is warranted meaning fair. The stabbing i realize was an emotional reaction and she has the right to be upset. Yes the deadly poison was an accident but she still meant to poison him after a pretty good injury. Either way im not upset about any of these developments but it seems a bit out of place considering their history. I know the writer is making the way for FL to grow -and what a way to do it.
I just dont understand how a capable officer like herself is hell bent on a single suspect because she saw him at the scene. Id at least expect her to give him the benefit of the doubt while in prison or close watch and investigate both possibilities. Considering thier relationship. So no - im not expecting hugs and kisses but for her to do her job as an investigator and keep an open mind
Looking forward to seeing her growth and the ML growth as he is as overconfident and a bit reckless himself
Just breaking this drama in, but seriously, 7.8.!!! MDL ratings are a joke now.
So far im liking the mystery elements of rhe show. If you're watching closely you can pick up hints. Now i haven't finished Corners Diary but imo the cases here are more interesting. The only downside is Xueman she's super strong and ambitious but unfortunately her character is a victim to the strong but stubborn/dense FL archetype. I think her being suspicious is warranted but it's a bit over the top to stab and poison someone you've been knowing for years. Just seems very shallow. All in all i can't wait to finish both series. Hopefully i can find a good match for Longest Day in Changan, Ripe town, and luoyang one day
I feel a bit bothered by episode 13 im almost through with it and while i understand Han yan point of view i just don't like her attitude torwards defending her family. It comes off as a bit self righteous and selfish. I think she lacks empathy for her mother and her situation - she tells Fu that without a home what else is there for her? Well what about her mother's home ? What about her legs? And the house she married into is a lions den. If bringing everyone to justice brings her peace then so be it. Idk if id want to force my mom to live with that so you can a real home. Will she truly be happy? If everyone else was gone maybe but if the crimes are even heavier of Pei da Fu then no one is getting out of this case.
It is frustrating that no one is telling her the whole story too. She thinks this is just a setup by her mom and Fu to unjustly frame and close the case ...and yeah they did influence some events but she really doesn't know the full picture. I don't think its right to just make bold assumptions against Fu and the mom. When dad kinda admitted to be affiliated with Pei. Her intentions are to save her family not to find out the truth.
After Watching episode 12, i just have mixed feelings about the FL attempting to thwart the moms plans. At times i feel like she is so bent on achieving her idea of a family that she isnt paying attention to her mother's warning or suffering. Losing her family is enough but it doesn't seem like it ended there. The dad is definitely the big fosh here
Wow im at the part where we finally learn about FLs involment in the old censor case and boy was i not expecting this. Seems like her mother was right about her being too smart for her own good.
Although she was tricked the first time, im wondering how many people she lured in that house and why keep doing it! Being a gullible kid really saved her. The title is making sense now things will be very interesting going forward if her identity is revealed
After a few episodes im liking this drama but is it just me or it feels a bit fast paced at times. It reminds me of web drama production the way people are introduced and the way FLs agenda is revealed
