I haven't watched Shen Li, but i have to agree with everything you said. IMO ML is a drawback of this drama and some of the directing of the scenes.
Hopefully things get better but i can definitely see where you are coming from. The FL is my lifeline for this show lol wish this plot got backed by a bigger budget

Dont even get me started on stank face In Hye. Such a talented individual willing throw away her sisters to be all up in this crazy family , just to study overseas in Boston. Knowing they used your work for their daughter 🤡 She makes me want to pull a magnet over her defibrillator when she acts like shes better than the rest of her family Money isnt everything and she can do great things without being rich and show some appreciation will you to your family who got you treatment ( meaning u better fix your face at Girl boss granny's funeral)

He does seem like an obvious villain but i think the wife is the main villain . That's my hunch

She was, she had her own crib , multi million business, mysterious boyfriend and now she's gone bc of the three muskrats 🙄

Super pissed Girl Boss granny is dead . She was the only person i liked really. The next interesting character is Choi Il Do. I need to know his story and why he's "helping" In-Jo

Definitely worth the watch, Im glad i came across this drama. Beautiful set and cinematography. The ML acting took me by surprise since im used to seeing him in noble and nice guy roles but wow ! total transformation. This dramas was a good action/thriller/mystery. Although different it kind of reminds me of " the longest day in chang'an " drama (also recommended).

Despite others comments on the Romance, i dont see how it ruined the drama. If anything what really made this drama a 8.2 is the entire Liu Family. Just fast forward them.

Yeah i ment to put this in my mini rant lol. Her mother was really wrong in rejecting her like that, although i did understand her reasons, she could of held her composure and really explained to yuehua.

She'd be alright if she was more humble after her obvious failures and kindness showed by FL

Speaking of the 2ML, i kind of wish 2ML & Fl would have more interactions together. I know they wont get together but i was kind of rooting for him after that flash back of him observing her while she was tucked away in the house.

Really because i felt bad for ZiJin dedicating her whole life to serve one person like a ready made wife. I like the ML but id like to live my own life
