discovering new sides of JHI
There is a destination, even if we take the wrong turn where we end up could be our destination - Jung Hae In.
I never watch travel shows never. but keeping this on my PTW for too long seemed awkward, you know it's HAE IN show right. So I just jumped into this NY trip while having lunch and couldn't help but binge it all. I start this for Hae In but as it moves forward I just fell for him yet AGAIN. He was soooooooo happy, we cant say like a kid, but he was happy in his own way. even the smallest thing made him happy, walking on the street, lying on the grass. we could see the Hae In who is imperfect but still lovable, kind, keen, and incredible. his love for beer, spicy food, burgers, and nature is very evident. he is awestruck but more than that he is happy. he enjoys the moment not just busy capturing the moment, OK I give that he already had a crew capturing all his moments but he gives that vibe of simplicity. He enjoys everything. with the food, he enjoys having it not for the camera but for himself.
You know many fans recognized him and random people talked to him, he feels very approachable.
also if anyone wants to plan a NY trip, this documentary could be one of the best guides. it has shown amazing places and because they walk most of the time it feels like I am walking with them.
Everything was great about the show, the great cast, great scenic beauty, awesome food. the crew did a fantastic job, capturing and editing the show encapsulating the scenic beauty in between. also, the titles that appeared on screen Producer HaeIn, Chef HaeIn were so cute. apart from that, we could see the respect and care he showed both Hyunsoo and JongGeon.
the last episode of heartfelt dinner was an emotional and perfect end to the series and I actually cried. I mean who cries over a documentary but sincerely I didn't want it to end.
The playlist is AWESOME, it has like 90 percent English songs perfectly enhancing the mood. Also, Producer Jung's playlist is TBH great. his selection is incredible.
I would rewatch this, it is light and romantic.
this was truly a travel documentary and because many times we see the scene is shot and the celebrity sits on a chair and goes on explaining, I always think did they actually felt that way. but in this drama, we don't see this we just the moment they are enjoying and having a heart to heart conversation. I truly wish that Hae In makes more of this travel documentary.
