This felt very nostalgic for me. If there are some older kdrama fans here like myself, you will understand what…
Thank you for this, I've been watching Kdrama since maybe 2012, and i actually stopped watching much of it from maybe 2020 or so, maybe once in a while I'll find a really nice one, but its definitely not like how it use to be, i would binge and then as soon as that was done i binge another, but its not like that anymore. I will give this a chance, since the last Kdrama i watched was King The Land 😄
Can someone reccomend a romance like this one, where one of the leads started loving the other from the start and nothing changed thier mind even until the end. Whether it's modern, historical, wuxia or xianxia I don't mind what genre it is. :)
I have been in a serious drama slump for the past 2 years or so, I have seen maybe 1 or 2 shows this year that…
I also liked that apart from a few genuine moments when the crown prince thought he was going to die too soon and he should leave the FL alone, i actually liked the way this story went with their romance, no noble idiocy where he actually stayed away from the FL because he was sick and dying, even when he had 1 year left, he was honest with her and allowed her to choose and she chose him even for 1 year, and they both had no regrets about being with eachother apart from the ML wanting to live a long life with the FL, this is also rare in Cdrama land, usually when any one of the leads is sick or dying they run away, hide away or too scared to actually form a romance with someone else unless they are suddenly magically healed.
This one we knew from the first few episodes, if not the first that the ML was sick and dying, and we also knew that he had eyes for the FL from then and it lasted until his very end, which i absolutely loved, that he didn't allowed his sickness and any foolish pr artifical humilty to keep him away from the FL, he loved her and made the priovision for her so even when he's gone she will be well protected, what a love!!
I have been in a serious drama slump for the past 2 years or so, I have seen maybe 1 or 2 shows this year that i actually fully watched and enjoyed, but this is the first time in a few years that i watched a historical drama and thoroughly enjoy the storyline, the acting, the plot, the romance and so many more. I also loved that it wasn't just about palace politics with endless backstabbing and deaths, but it had a storyline and some great fatherly and brotherly love, as well as genuine relationships and friendships, rare to see in a palace drama.
I want to suggest the 40-episode C-drama First Jasmine (Mo Li). There is one short breakup, which I'll mention,…
Thank you for the details, I don't know if you'll remember, but is there any skinship at all? I don't mind an out school type drama, to be honest i missed those drama where it wasn't perfect or swoonworthy but we would still watch and enjoy it
Gonna give it a quick mention to Love has fireworks cdrama, 36 eps. There's no break up and a happy ending so…
I think them getting together at pretty much the end helped this show to be a NBU cause it would have been insane if they brokeup with just 2 episodes left haha 😄
I'll rethink this show evwb though I've been waiting for it for years, seeing I'm not a huge fan of slow burn, halfway through or at least 8-10 episodes i can handle, but 2 episodes before the end in a 36 episode drama is wild! 😄
Thank you for always helping with the extra details you don't see in the comment section.
Going to suggest key to the Phoenix heart, 28 ep cdrama. Theres no break up and a happy ending, there is one or…
I really wanted to see this and I knew the FL is young, I've seen her a lot in supporting roles, but i did not know she was that young when this was filmed, why did they use such a young actress😢 .. i don't mind some age gap shows, but gosh 17 and 27 in real life for a romance related drama even though there isn't skinship, plus i really really do not like love triangles, I'll have to seriously think about this one.
Thank you soo much for the detailed information it has been very helpful.
Any other recommendations for Kdrama's you've watched recently that would give that nostaglic feeling? or just worth the watch to be honest
Do you mind replying when you are done with final thoughts on this drama?
I saw Blossom of power already, i will check out the rest.
I saw somewhere that they have two kids at the end is that true?
