My opinion is that it is very good. Not the usual troupe of FL being a damsel in distress waiting to be saved; she navigated through her own troubles and even when ML knows she’s in trouble he never intervenes unless she seeks him out. I think it is a very well written drama and the aesthetics are beautiful.

This is exactly what I’ve been saying. She has been doing the same thing once twice thrice…. she hasn’t learnt anything. While I understand people defending her choices by refering to such people existing in reality but what about people like Mudan who go out of their way to make a friend’s life better only to be betrayed and utterly destroyed because she chose her abusive husband.. because she needs a man…for me she doesn’t deserve any redemption. While there are people who get redemptions then there is also a reality of never getting a redemption. I empathized with her in the first episodes but she wasn’t learning anything from life itself or Mudan.

OMG I want to say Bin Bin is hot like terrificly hot and spicy. I’ve always known he is hot but he gets hotter and hotter day after day😍😍😍😍. I love his new look as Zhao Ming, it brings this aspect even more.

I loved him the most in Sword Snow Stride and Dashing Youth since he had this playful side to his character.

My days are in for being somehow lonely. I really enjoyed the acting; the cinematography and OSTs. I enjoyed everything about the drama. As for me as long one thing pleases me in a drama even if there some unpleasant things but it gets a 10/10 for me. This drama pleased me with many things.. If I had to rate it with how many things pleased me then I’d be rating 1000/10. I am happy I never slept on it. From day one to its end. I am happy to have been part of this beautiful journey. After watching Dylan for over a long period of time, this character fits him the most and he embodied it soo well that I can’t tell aprt between him and the character. If there is s2 I am willingly waiting for it. I waited five years for Joy of Life; a few more days or months or years ain’t a big deal😍😍😍🥰😍🥰🥰. Good things are worth the wait. Kuddos to the whole production team. They deserve a raise and applause. I felt so emotional watching all those people forget XQA especially his family who unconsciously put an additional plate for food on the table for him😭😭. I never thought it would be this bittersweet.

Zhenbei Wang is lucky to have gone without his hair crown been taken down or his hair scattered allover. Quite an eye opener😄😄😄. The only drama my sister loves in cdrama land is JOY OF LIFE but I think she’ll love the feel of this drama. It is same same but different to JOL.I highly recommend it.

Sh refuses to open her eyes. She has severe stockholm syndrome. But it’s not like she was told that she ain’t gonna marry, it is time after time she was told it was not supposed to be her ex-husband. Just like she has seen abuse her all life, I’m pretty she saw a few happy people too. She just decided to conclude her life as it is without exploring any other choices.

Not liking a character does not conclude that women here have no empathy.. frustration is also an emotion and it was meant to comeout when you cross paths with this Sheng Yi character.
