Is it better than the anime adaption of these chapters? No, it's JUST as good.

Before watching this I had seen both seasons of the anime, the first movie and read the first volume of the manga, and to me, this story is literally one of my favorites. I try to watch anything that comes out from this franchise!

Story
To start, this miniseries is a live-action adaption of chapters 5 (final part of ep 1), 18 (second part of ep 4), 28 (middle part of ep 6), 37 (first part of ep 10) and 53 (middle of ep 14) of the manga (anime). So basically, this is an adaptation of some of the better parts that were not adapted into the first live-action movie, and it stayed close to the source material. Also, this was done to be almost identical to the way the anime adapted, which means it fixed one of the bigger issues I had with the movie: the usage of the Narrator. It's just great to have him tell us who wins the battles in each episode

Actors
Now, to us, this is the second time we see these people play these roles, and again, the actors were great in their parts. The main leads made the characters theirs and did a great job. By now, I am used to them being in these roles and how they portray them. I learned to love the style used in this Live Action as well. The mix of animation is perfect in a story like this.

Now I am ready to see the sequel to the movie!
