Wow, haven't seen such a boring male lead in a while... Woong was an interesting character from the very beginning,…
Take a second sight. How he hurry the relationship. The fact is so quiet and relax rather than be a bit nervous when he makes a proposal. Why he goes as soon as to another blind date. For sure the character is deeper than that and hides a lot. It will be very interesting to watch his cells.
Just the start, but far more better than season 1 for me so far. Obviously it depends on ones preferences, and…
I'm rewatching season 1, I prefer now than first time. There are many funny situations I didn't noticed (I was not in good condition at this time). Of course the so good "transparent shower" situation. I enjoy a lot season 2. This writer never disapoint.
Yes kaiji has intense emotions, the lead does an amazing job.. Liar game is fun to watch.
Ahh, I was speaking about the anime (cartoon), with an expressionist style. I watched the movies too. I like less, but the main actor is great. Same guy than in Battle Royale and Death Note the movies. This guy is everywhere!
I'm not so interested because season 1 copied too much some others shows. It rely on shock value, while emotions couldn't be feel. I still appreciate anything that was really original in it. Esthetism, the cake game, rich people coming to see the game.
We can watch the anime KAIJI. Mostly copied, even a whole scene. Fun fact about that, Kaiji is much less violent while the emotions are more intense. Other, the famous movie "Battle Royale" and the psycho-cerebral japanese drama "Liar game", which use an island in the final movie.
The writer took 12 years writing the 1st season whereas now it’s only 2 years (?) he’s gonna spend writing…
It's ok. Many screenwriters do that. Some projects takes time to maturate, as some others are done more quickly. You can see mainwhile he wrote and directed 3 movies.
I'm surprised people in the comments are against this sequel. Recently all I see is people hoping for sequels…
It makes sens. People like to have a full story. Myself too. It means the drama have a structure beginning-middle-end. What is frustrating in series with seasons, it leads nowhere, and the writing don't need to be so precise about to prepare the points of the story leading to an end.
But sometimes kdramas with seasons can be good too... - Yumi Cells: the drama is short and have an ending. Anyone can see that and be ok with the end. - Stranger: I watched season 1, it haves a closure and didn't need a season 2. So a season 2 is ok too (and I didnt watched it). - Vagabond: here it's frustrating. We don't feel a real ending. I can note however that the writers certainely have a lot of the ideas for a season 2. As season 2 will never be produced, they worked for nothing.
I understand your point, mainly because the first episode was so loud and preachy about the "woman against all men". Giving the illusion that this explains her attitude. When a little subtlety and restraint could just give us an ambitious, arrogant and inherently flawed character. Which I would have been willing to accept! As for "the boy reveals her good side" part. Again, I have nothing against the idea, as it has been done tons of times in other dramas when there is a male jerk (Shinning Inheritance for example). Only, it was done properly in those dramas. It takes time and we accept the way the character matures. So, I blame the execution here again. And you didn't lose much to give up episode 2. I lasted until episode 4 before I dropped out. There are so many other things that don't work in this drama.
damn dont bother with the hate comments it is a good drama and receive high rating in korea too. if you find it…
Core target of dramas in Korea are ajhummas. Of course, an ajhumma romance can get rating, no matters what. 😏 People who call argumentative criticism "hate" just don't want to think.
I often see you post negatively about most shows. Maybe you should find a different hobby to spend time on instead…
I do. It's why I don't lose precious time when pointing details. But I don't think it can be perfect. It's a long way and need work, as well as learning for years.

But a full respect would be no more than 5.
You just can't stand that your darling are killed with objective facts.
It would make even more sens to get a review from someone dropping the drama at episode X.
