So, in total in the past week, there are 7 accounts all made within the past 2 days, by what appears to be the…
It's so sad.
My review is very precise and well-argued.
Totally focused on the narrative.
I didn't even mention lee lim as a miswritten villain.
There was already too much to say about the badly written script.
This is the result of a long-term analysis.
I rewrote it and made corrections to it. It's a lot of work.

Ratings aren’t as bad as some people are making it out to be. Disappointing, perhaps but bad? Not quite. It’s…
The best ratings are always by far those of the dailys drama.
Family, makjang. Always between 20% and 30%.
I'm not sure if they are still daily drama anymore, because the time slots are Saturday and Sunday. 8pm, prime time. So 4 episodes of 30 minutes, instead of 5 episodes from Monday to Friday. Prime time is of course a master asset, on a public channel in addition. But we can see that a drama like "World of the maried" had the same impact on a cable network. The drama is not a real makjang but it can look like one. With a better quality than a daily and similar themes, the impact was very strong.

What is notable is that the makjang offer at prime time morally harsher content than a drama like "Psycho is okay". There are regularly complaints about this, but as it works, you can be sure to find more and more horrible things. It's enough to be disturbed! The psychological aspect is very developed too (when it's well done), but in a different way. It doesn't go through as many subtleties as a drama like "Psycho is okay", whose content is more artistic and aesthetic. The psychology of makjang doesn't proceed by a work of disassembling and accumulating, it's raw or dependent on the live action. Maybe the audience prefers this simple and natural way of seeing the characters as they are.

On the other hand, there is less originality, sometimes characters correspond to stereotypes, and of course a cinematographic quality reduced to the basic essentials. A defect that is turned as an advantage, because the action is very clear to follow, and the simplicity of the scenes makes one think more of theatre. The spectator is never disturbed by artificial cinematic processes. This does not make life easier for the actors, who are rather good (especially the main characters). They have to sound right, fast, without much preparation, with a direction and editing that have no means to mitigate a badly played scene. It's very attractive live show, and the pace of the episodes is high, with a lot of cliffhangers.

I freaking LOVED the scene where Moon Young got out of the car and screamed 'I love you!' so many times. It was…
Since it's hard to find my way around here, I post most of the time on this blog:

Sometimes what is analysed and anticipated is right, sometimes mistakes or inaccuracies. For example: I just had an idea that the zombie boy story was related to the past of ML. But it wasn't very clear how. Thanks to your comment, I can see better. I pointed out a few more details on my side. I'm having trouble absorbing it all in one viewing. Sometimes some difficult details jump out at me, and sometimes I miss details that seem easy to detect. Unfortunately, I unintentionally omitted a lot of content from Episode 3 because I didn't like the episode. When this happens, I forget very quickly and my concentration drops.

My feelings...Ep 01 : Good.Ep 02 : Good.Ep 03 : Bad.Ep 04 : Excellent.
Yeah, I don't want drop it anymore. ;-)
I cross my fingers about pace and things I disliked in Ep 03 don't come back. I was wrong (for now) about the semi-procedural thing.

I just re-watched the first four episodes. The scene in episode 4 where Moon Young is lying on the floor laughing…
I was expecting this.
I'm sure "Psycho is okay" is her best role, the one that sticks to her skin.
Seo Ye Jin was excellent in the drama "Save Me", scenes of crying, confusion, anxiety, nervous breakdown. Unfortunately, her physique was too cold for the role. In addition, her character was poorly written. Certainly satisfying for the audience, but on closer inspection, there were problems with the character's deep nature. The relationship with the ML was poorly constructed as well.
So she was always a very gifted actress.
In "Lawless layer", again her character has problems, is underestimated, and the progression with the ML is badly constructed. With a backward character, the actress is limited, and with an ML actor as brilliant as Lee Jun Gi, there is very little room left for her. But I don't think any other actress could have made things better. It's not like in Scarlet Heart, where Lee Jun Gi outperforms the cast as well as UI, even though the FL character is well established.

Why are these comment section still full of people who hate this drama? It's not that bad, and the reviews are…
How do you expect people need to rewatch it 3 times, when the 1st time is so painful ?

There are many things I missed, but I can find them in your explanations.
- Zombie boy's explanation number two. Zombie boy is not the ML.
+ So he was left behind, abandoned by his mother, who made him a tool. Also refer to the scene of the politician using his children as tools. FL repeatedly points out to the ML that he needs affection, like his mother's. The rain in the flashback makes the connection with the rain in the end scene.
- LF insisted on "having fun".
+ It is also an invitation to regain a childlike spirit. To start living emotionally again from the breaking point.
- Confession scene. I liked the scene without thinking more about it, except that the ML did not consider FL to be sincere. And your explanation is satisfactory. Trope subversion. I'm not sure if the FL is a small little bit sincere here, or not at all.
I was also doing some research of my own, to find out how the final scene is made stronger emotionally. By the time I wrote all this, I just should have re-watched the episode, lol!

Nielsen ratings are out and not encouraging. Nationwide: 4.942% and Seoul: 6.000%. I think KSH is going to complete…
Episode 3 was so bad I understand that.
But episode 4 was good, maybe rating will change Episode 5.
Or not.
It can be specific to the theme, like you say.
Well, will see that later...

Extraordinary-you is a good drama for your subject :
- Repetitive story : at first the drama is a parody of "boys over flowers". But in the end the drama is so bad than it become a serious very bad clone of BOF.
- The drama hire Ro Woon, because it's an ex-idol boy. But the guy can't act. First it's not obvious because he play a "without personnality" guy. But when the character get personnality, Ro Woon acting remains the same. No acting. It's the best incompetent "actor" I know.
