I think after this type of feedback from many, most show makers shd go for badly written and badly edited stories..…
Maybe it's a similar feeling when you go to a post-modern art museum. And there's a big sculpture made out of compressed cars carcasses in one room, and a pile of dead leaves on the floor in another room. :-)
This plot is sometimes confusing me and it shouldn't,since I am a wibbly wobbly, timey wimey travel stuff fan...I…
The plot is not confused, but rather the way the plot is told. And it is indeed disastrous. Anything that can be done to create artificial and unnecessary confusion is done. I did a case analysis: I realized that even by reviewing the episodes and paying attention to the details (which we shouldn't need to do already), there is no deductive way to know exactly what is going on. This is for an important situation, leading the viewer to experience the drama painfully afterwards, since without knowing this, the rest is meaningless. I'm not talking about an enigma made to remain hidden, but just a normal situation that was meant to be understood.
Once again, I love complex stories too. But this one is badly told. It's why the rating are so low. Even a complex…
I don't have time to detail all objectives points about what I say as "bad storytelling" here. I started to write an article about that. So, I will finish this, but it take a long time to make. If you fully enjoy the show despite the flaws, I'm glad for you, you are a lucky one. I'm unable to do so, when all this jump at me so obviously. It's even more frustrating when in the background, the ideas are here and you can feel a great work.
Sherlock is a good example of a story well told. The viewer easily understands the plot! The plot is pleasant and exciting to follow and encourages immersion. What the audience does not understand is why or how the crime took place. But spectators can use their intelligence to try to guess in advance. If TKEM were so well told, it would be a great success!
OMG I'm watching WYWS right now and it's really great. I'll really look forward to this one. ❤
Yeah. It's one of my top 3 screenwriter. ;-) Watch I can hear your voice if you want more : 1first episode is perfect. And Pinocchio as the same vibe too.
With these two main actors, there is enormous potential. But I have doubts, the trailer doesn't show anything exciting. I'm hoping for a quality comparable to Suspicious Partners or Cleaning with Passion.
I recently just got to watching this and ended up enjoying it. Finding out the extreme hate/love for this drama…
People who like drama have no reason to get hurt. People who don't like drama get hurt because of their disappointment. And now you want to hurt these people again by preventing them from describing why they didn't like the drama. Hurting the victims twice is not what I call human decency.
The more I analyze this drama, the more I am at awe of Kim Eun-sook's writing. The non-linear storytelling is…
Once again, I love complex stories too. But this one is badly told. It's why the rating are so low. Even a complex story, when well done, can get accetable ratings. Far more than that, considering KES is famous.
HANDS DOWN THE BEST ON EVERY LEVEL. THEY WILL RATHER DIE THAN ADMIT THAT THIS DRAMA HAS BEEN THE MOST ADDICTIVE…
No. Not OK. I don't subscribe to this relativistic view of things. For sentimental and obscure reasons, maybe a very few people will accept that. But let's be objective and at least a little clear-sighted: the drama suffered drastic rating downgrades in the first half. This did not come out of nowhere.
I can't invent this. Niki, the truth-teller said it: you're a snake in the garden of eden!
I forgot one thing. My memes are mostly inspired by a lot of commentators all over the internet. BUT! There's one I could never have found without Niki's direct help, and that's this one: http://w4worlds.eklablog.com/the-king-eternal-monarch-meme-03-chicken-product-placements-a187786552 This is an almost perfect replica of an exchange of dialogue we had here. That is why I would like to thank her once again warmly.
stop the blah blah blah, as you try to indirectly target me. Just read this, it explains why :http://w4worlds.eklablog.com/the-king-eternal-monarch-articles-c31688180
:-D Thanks to be here ! Always a pleasure and a good fun to read you.
Because it's badly done, so you don't understand quickly what happens.
I don't understand all, because im not english native and your words don't say something coherent in my automatic translator. I just suppose you are offended.

Tongue just make blah blah.
Two differents way to tell stories, different feeling and style.

Congratulations, you're officially the alpha villain, the Lee Lim of commentary.
