Ep6. Start with an etablishing shot (beautiful traditional house, excellent image) and then a problematic scene (short one), quite weak dialogue. Here is the point: previous episode, granpa is angry about the boys and about the half-son. But here, for no reason, instead he congratulates him and gives him a reward. HUH ??!!!
It alternates that and Tae Oh (quite nice). Then Kang In Ha ask to marry "a woman", grandpa agree even without knowing who. The shot shows Tae Oh smartphone with the FL calling (well, anyway, it was obvious he was speaking about her, but it's still nice to have that). It goes on Tae Oh (on the ground, after being attacked) and now there is a beautiful tragic music. Giving us the sens he have been betrayed, or In Ha steal his woman (with flashback of her). What is a good point. Also give us the sens that the henchman was paid by In Ha. Good.
I know exactly what is the intention of the writer here, but sadly it doesn't work, because we never trusted the maybe love story of the ML and the girl. Then it falls flat, a maybe a bit ridiculous.
It also giving the sens In Ha have to get rid of Tae Oh to marry the girl? Anyway, he's been in couple with her for... well, it should be 10 years now?! Did I miss some scenes?
Maybe it could work with some focus on her and Tae Oh during this time. Like she often regret to be with In Ha (but stays with him for ambition reason), and have some scenes when she try to reconnect with Tae Oh but can't go further, or when he makes her shows her real feeling but as she's gone in too much inner contradiction, she can't change her way and goes with him. And of course, In Ha spy that by chance (or just he ask someone to spy on her)... Anything giving evidence there is an hidden love story between the two ones. Then, we could get this situation. But here, meh......
I continue. I hope to see real bad shit. But for now it's mostly dull. And not easy to point out exactly why it doesn't work. A good case study. Lack of likeable characters first. Difficulty to stick to motivations? Not enough dramatic? Or boring static scenes of expositions about blurry financial schemes?
It's a makjang drama, hidding under a carpet of modern directing. As a slow makjang I prefered much more "Eve", focusing on overdramatism and a clear situation.
I started ep5 yesterday and I'm finishing it now, and have a problem:Granpa scold the two boys because they did…
56:40. A good scene, thanks to the jerk Kang In Joo. I didn't take note of all bad scenes and some better ones.
It ends with a mysterious attacker giving a stick blow on ML head. The purpose isn't clear... why the attacker cuts the phone call like it were a murder, or like he have something to say and doesn't want someone hear that? But instead he goes away.
I started ep5 yesterday and I'm finishing it now, and have a problem: Granpa scold the two boys because they did a "trap and manipulation". Looks like a serious matter.
By the way, during all the previous scenes, they make a big deal of this bad "trap and manipulation". But now... I've no idea what exactly is this trap and manipulation?!!
There were some dialog scenes when they speak about plans. It's quite dull and make me sleepy. But everything's blurry, so now I don't know what.
Looks like a complicated and vague business thing of magical finance. And during all the scenes after, they just say "you did a bad thing". And we never know what exactly is this bad thing out of nowhere.
Else, the episode was slow and dull. Many boring scenes. I also have trouble to care about characters...
First of all she is not professional actress 2nd yes she is just IG model and accused that she got rold wrong…
I've made a mistake to speak about Rowoon when it's not the subject of this drama. SORRY SORRY SORRY. I bend down and rub my hands in "ask for forgiveness posture". ššš
The comments here against FL are disgusting. You don't like her or her acting, it's ok but don't insult her like…
No. She should give up acting. She should also give up modeling because she's ugly. She should work in a farm, and be proud of it. (farmers are more useful for the world than actors).
It's like the script was throw away in a trash can in 2003. Then someone from the cleaning crew picked it up, and sold it to an amateur scriptwriter.
This scriptwriter proposed the script in 2008. It was again thrown into a garbage can. Thinking it was a mistake, this time the cleaning crew put the script in a script pile on a desk, without knowing what the pile was for. The next day, a producer put this pile in a cupboard: "crappy scripts to sell to a company producing crappy series".
In 2023, a producer saw that Disney only made crappy series and destroyed famous IP like Marvel or StarWars, pushing away any audience. So this producer offered them the script, thinking it was still a bit less crappy.
As Disney can't even rely on kdramas to make money (their only way to make money now), the company should bankrupt soon, and it will be a greater good for the world.

. I watched Extraordinary You, where his acting was extraordinary lame. Then, it was the very one single actor I decided to ban. So of course, I didn't watch anything he did after. Else, the guy is handsome, no problem about that. Excellent model! š
I ended episode 4. Pfooo. š„µ But as I'm rewatching Signal, I lost any desire to continue TIH. Should I continue, for the sake of hate-watching? By the way, I don't really hate it, it's just dull.
You guys are honestly disgusting, accusing the female actress of being a prostitute and selling herself over a…
