All im going to say is... man there product placement is so, so *striking*
The whole drama is a product placement. A product made to be a content without respect for quality, like many products you buy in supermarket or fast-food enseign. The product throws up, well, let's say pukes content right into your throat until you die from... (see spoiler)
There are so many revenge dramas.Recently, The Glory was great, but almost no romance.
The Glory writer is the most famous screenwriter in Korea. But she disappointed me with some recent dramas. I was reluctant to watch the Glory, but reading the pitch, I was ready to make an effort, as I temporaly banned the writer. And gosh, what a good surprise. She's at top level here.
This show is a stain on KYJ’s career. She probably wants to wipe this off her history. Probably no more projects…
The actress has enough reputation to do again a SBS drama. But about the actor, hum. Not sure. And the writer, well, I don't think we'll see this writer further on SBS.

Even with spoilers it's great to watch. I think just each scene is well made and dialogues unexpected. The writer surprised me, because this style of narrative about scene structure and flashback montages are more the expertise of my favorite writer Song Jae Jung. Well, I think a good drama is always worth it to watch, even with spoilers (and I dislike a lot spoilers!). It's the path the more important, not the end.
Ugh, such amateur writing. This drama was painfully difficult to finish and I suppose that’s my own fault since…
I'm balanced. The writer isn't amateur, for sure. There are smart scene transitions, structure, foreshadowing. But... at a point, the writer have nothing to give. Huge flaw. A big hole in the story structure. Even adding plot-holes to get what she want, thank to plot-contrivance. So, I don't know what to say, apart it's a badly written drama, very very boring.
My girlfriend is Gumiho - The FL is a gumiho (fox). Although she is spunky, she isn't like any of the heros of…
She's my favorite writer, so it's a bit normal I look for informations. Nevertheless, I have also another bunch of favorite writers. All these talented people do things... I can't do! Maybe it's what I love, they surprise me. But I'm hard on their track, looking closely, learning fast. Song Jae-Jung is my target as well as my master.
My season 2 drama is 32h screentime. Yeah, the double of season 1. But when you love the crazy universe of W, it's a blessing!
I ended to understand than the main antagonist of W isn't the faceless killer, or the killer with Sung-Moo face, or that prosecutor. It's the high-concept! Producing always something unexpected. And even the hero with a superhuman mind can't expect it. So, I did that too! With new concepts added to the ones we know. ;-)
Developping a high-concept is key for plot-twists and emotional moments, but often, writers doesn't dig enough. SJJ does of course, but the others? It's rare. "365 repeat the year", "Sisyphus the myth" and "Kairos" did a good job about that. Well maybe a bit blurry for Sisyphus, but I admit that for W, SJJ was a bit blurry too, and I had to rewatch a lot to understand how her concept works. Some few more explanations during part 2 could be better. But anyway, when it's a masterpiece, we don't nitpick the few little flaws.
But for "My Demon", not much digging in the high-concept. I'm not too harsh, the writer had some ideas, but it needed to push it more, to get a 16 hours drama fully enjoyable without dead time. I'm sure it was possible. Alas, the writer didn't do that, so it remains a sub-standard drama of the fantasy category with the usual trope "a man with (deity power, robot, alien, etc)" meet a pretty woman with strong personnality.
Some writers aren't good with complex fantasy (or fantastic/sci-fi) high-concept. I put into that the most famous Korean writer Kim Eun-Suk, who screwed up for plotless boring "Goblin" or ultra confusing "King Eternal Monarch", but was the awesome writer she is on "The Glory".
Any hate for this drama is justified, even recommended.
It's ruminated kdrama, bad writing but puppy lead boy.
NOTHING MORE.
However, a bit better than recent content from western Disney written by "humans".
Directing isn't great too, image lacks relief, light&shadows and color.
