Both Leo and Rosy are child actors. They have really grown in the last couple of years with their craft. Great pairing by the directors. ♥

The show would be over if they got together in the first episode. I enjoy the how's and why's much more. It is a story after all that gets better with the telling. Way more entertaining. ♥

He ends up with original betrothed. Our General then engages Niao Niao through the emperor. Just before wedding the General goes on killing spree and gets sent to the border for 5 yrs and cancels engagement. After 5 yrs Niao Niao gets engaged to poetry guy but the General returns. ♥

Interesting observations. Also Lou Yao was asked by FL why he didn't go to governor to get help. I can see 3rd uncle but not LY cause he seems really innocent and in a panic. 3rd uncle intercepted him. It also didn't make sense when 3rd uncle left 3rd aunt alone if he was that caring. Don't think he counted on Niao Niao's competence. OR 3rd uncle is just a coward and knew when he saw the city gates closed what it meant. Who was he gonna meet? Any ways he sure walked into a mess at his new post. Lou Yao ends up marrying his original betrothed for family ties.♥

Tuesday 2 ep, Wed 2 ep, Thurs 2 ep. Next week same. Not sure if they will really make us wait for last 3 to end part 1. Part 2 probably air in Aug. Hopefully. ♥

I like how everyone calls him puppy boy. I think at this stage she has a stronger relationship with ML. Puppy boy has just inserted himself. Men like women who are lively and puppy boy is no exception. He just doesn't know why he likes her. He too is very young. FL is only 15 yrs old and just finding her way in life. She needs to grow both to love ML and figure out herself at this point.♥

He will be in and out. She does almost marry him before his rampage so there will be lots of screen time. He will be in 70% of the show. It is about FL not him. Her growth he is only part of it. ♥

Yes oldest is away as he is a soldier and hasn't come home with his younger brothers.

She gets engaged 3 x but in the end she is with ML. ML gets into trouble just before they marry and gets banished to the border for 5 yrs. After 5 yrs another marriage is arranged with poetry guy but ML comes back and takes her for his own.♥

She is engaged 3 times. 2 ML and the general and poetry guy >> back to general. Cancels first engagement. Is engaged to general 1 ML but he goes on a rampage just before their marriage and gets banned to the borders for 5 yrs << engagement broken. She then after 5 yrs is pushed to marry 3 ML but general comes back and upsets everyone and takes her as his own. Pass it on. ♥

Oldest brother has not appeared at all in story other than to be mentioned. Second brother and her twin are there with the mother. The smaller man is her twin. ♥

No just for a while. Apparently she also goes with the scholar too. The ultimate goal is ML.♥

Plus he seems safe. Remember her ideal life? Safe and ordinary. She doesn't know his family. She doesn't know herself yet. She will come into her own. A 15 yr old girl who has lead a sheltered life what does she know really. ♥

Yes I like the hairstyles a lot. Some of those fussy ones are too much. Got a kick out Qi Qi with overloaded adornments. She did have an influence on SS. She got her wearing ears and necklaces. I've seen that style of shoes in other series. ♥

Oh that one. Of course as in all costume changes it came out of thin air. You see them all bloody and next they are in clean clothes and they lost their baggage. Just one of continuity that doesn't make sense. I've noticed a few in this series. Peace♥

I think the Mother wanted SS to see more of how the world is. Boy she sure got a first dose of war. SS asked her aunt if her parents went through this too? EP 11 - 12. She now sees how foolish her actions are. Also when she took charge for their situation SS showed she is just like her mother. Brave, courageous and resourceful. I think SS's Mother is wise to send her off to see for herself. It is the only way to get through to her. As for YY she is timid and can only be like her father. Yes Mom was cruel and punishment was harsh but had no effect really. It's like the kid who wanders off onto the road time and again. Finally you punish them because it is dangerous. Peace♥

It came as a reward from the Emperor. He got promoted. It was presented to him by the palace when he returned from war. Around the same time Niao Niao's parents returned. Way at the beginning. ♥
