These dramas are two different genres it's a matter of preferance really. I personally like Wuxia so am more invested in this drama than Luoyang << period mystery/detectives. ♥

Who knows at this point. They do seem to like and respect each other. If he pays too much attention to her he will have a weakness that can be exploited. Later on she explains that's why she continues to try to kill him. << to keep their enemies from exploiting them. ♥

He is at splitting heaven realm but not experienced yet. Ep 30. It is progressing as it goes along.

I really love ML's acting. He does a terrific job. He needs to be in more dramas for sure. I've enjoyed his acting first in The Taoism Grand Master 2018.

He's had plenty of opportunity to improve upon his own self defense. I understand they were off trying to fight the foe. He thinks he can talk his way out of everything. Also he knew darn well it was a trap and he walked into it knowing it was. The game of the other side is divide and conquer. Worked well. ♥

I prefer Sword Snow Stride personally. Though if you a fan of YB then you rush over there and watch him instead. I'll take a good story over fandom any day. Love and Peace.♥

Well ML arrogance got the better of him. Ep 21. He thinks he is above it all. Really they all fighting for him and he arrogantly stands by and watches until they all fall and he has to defend himself. So not fair. Love and Peace.♥

Yes fan wars are very childish and have caused such dissidence on line. I don't blame the censors for with-holding if the craziness gets out of hand. You only have yourselves to blame for doing fan wars. All is equal. Each person has their own understanding and takes what resonates for them. Love and Peace.

This is a frustrating drama to watch. No one gets what the other wants or needs. They all running around contrary to each other. Soooo frustrating. So I did one, two skip a few on this one. Love and Peace.♥

He is in love with her free spirit. He is trying to capture a wild bird without success. She doesn't really want to be captured and kept in a cage (palace) with all it's rules and regulations. I don't blame her one bit.♥

Why is it geo blocked when I already watched 12 episodes? I hate that.♥

Her former kingdom of Chu was caught up in the territory grab for the Qin dynasty. Chu was not a really powerful state to begin with. Yes Xu Xiao's army for the emperor at the emperors command would have been involved. She just needs to vent her anger at still being alive, when all her family was killed. So she goes after the weakest (supposedly) as she can't fight the General or the Emperor. We shall see if she grows out of her hatred. ♥

Well said. I couldn't agree more with actresses looking good all the time instead of getting into their roles. Fluttery eyelashes and in appropriate costumes for the scene. Some of the dramas I call them newbie dramas. Give them a script, some costumes, newbie director and a low budget. << See what happens. My question is, is that all you've got? Love and Peace. I feel sad for her. She is so insecure because of what life threw at her. She also is such a romantic and has her own ideas about marriage. Fortunately her husband is beginning to grow fond of her. Two opposites attract. Yes she finally is showing some growth in ep 27 - 28. << not by her choice but she now sees how dangerous it is. Waiting to see if she progresses or stays her usual annoying self. ♥

The father took on some adopted sons. There are 2 girls and 2 boys in ML's family. ML being the eldest boy. The others are adopted and not related.
