He is before half Immortal. He has a long way to go as he, at first, was reluctant to even train in marshal arts to begin with. He has a calm soul and body wise he needs more training. He has not ascended yet. He is training his mind and his body to ascend. He will get there. I have no doubt. He has the golden core and he is doing his soul wandering now. It will be interesting to watch his progress. ♥

There is always benevolent and malevolent realms or Ying and Yang as in nature. Good/bad. Light/dark. opposites. Each story writer,being a work of fiction, can create their own realm levels. The Tao. These dramas are two different genres it's a matter of preferance really. I personally like Wuxia so am more invested in this drama than Luoyang << period mystery/detectives. ♥
Also what's the situation between MC and the maid/princess? Will they get together? Or will the become enemies?
Who knows at this point. They do seem to like and respect each other. If he pays too much attention to her he will have a weakness that can be exploited. Later on she explains that's why she continues to try to kill him. << to keep their enemies from exploiting them. ♥
I really love ML's acting. He does a terrific job. He needs to be in more dramas for sure. I've enjoyed his acting first in The Taoism Grand Master 2018.
