I notice lots of questions about the plot that could be easily answered if gone back to the episode and simply rewatched. This drama is not for everybody. I have watched ML's other works but some I have dropped just not my genre. Now good mystery, political, intriguing drama is more to my liking but not for everyone. If this kind of drama is not your cup of tea don't force yourself just for ML. Peace♥

Remember GM was taken in as a child by ZBW so he owed him his allegiance. ZH was always testing everybody to see their reactions by saying provocative things. Re watch it if you have questions. They were really good at tying up everything. Things you might have missed.

No but it's in the same time as some of them. It's really a stand alone series and has nothing really to do with the modern ones. Other than a lot of the old tombs were already build and new tombs at that time where being built. Zang Hai was a master and could solve the traps in the tombs. But really it doesn't have anything to do with the tomb raider series. The past.
