Chu Yu was lead to the field by soldiers if you noticed. To me it meant she died in battle. Yes she lived longer but always wanted to be a warrior.

I see it as they all died and were together in heaven doing their thing with their comrades. Even Ning and Ruyi. The child came out to take ChuYu to meet them in heaven. They all loved, laughed and were loyal to each other till the end.

Loved it. Really got the audience engaged as you can see by the amount of comments. Best of the year in my opinion. I was worried there for a while. ♥

The writing of this original script is top notch. It has everything. Seriousness, hilarity, joy, sadness, angst, romance, growth. Well put together and as the title says it's a journey. One cannot say in a few words the overview of this drama. Trust and watch it for yourself.♥

After watching 33-34 I am satisfied. They can end it there. Happy ending. The rest is only chaos.♥

The phoenix is the Queen of the Immortals. There is now a live phoenix queen and they were able to nurture another but it was destroyed at the beginning. One of the male characters wants to take over the phoenix clan. It usually goes to a female Queen. He is in league with the Devil/Demons so he can take over.

Every series Zhao Lu Si is in there is a scene with "chipmunk cheeks" ep 20. She does it so well and it's so cute. It's like her trade mark. Have you noticed that? ♥

Scarlet Guards are from An. Spy network in many countries. Ruyi left An and was in Wu when she met up with our ML. She wanted to go back to An for her revenge. On the journey she has gone through many changes. Ruyi was once high up in the Guard but some of them are her enemy. She wants to look out for the girls/white sparrows and doesn't want them all to die. << this is her mission after they rescue the Emperor of Wu.

I don't know if anyone's noticed that in the majority of her series there is a scene for "chipmunk" cheeks. Where she stuffs her face with food and then has to react. The cutest one was in Love Like The Galaxy, where she was so hungry she was stuffing herself and hiccupped while being annoyed. Watch for it. It's like a trade mark with her. Love her acting so much. Great to see her progress. ♥

I enjoyed them sending their grievances up in fire works. It's a good way to get yourself to let go. However if you don't have fireworks burning the slips of paper works too. Drama imitating life. Peace♥
