Yah there are a few handsome actors that can't act their way out of a wet paper bag. No names dropped here. They sold out their looks. All the younguns adore them but what do they know. Certainly not real life. LY is my man from now on. Peace♥

All is happy and cheerful. Ep 1. Skipping along tralaa. It's a school vibe. la la la. Oh well let the young ones enjoy this. I will say the CGI is pretty good. 12 and up. Peace♥

She points out things that I may have missed when watching a drama. I go "I did catch that." If I am enjoying the drama I carry on watching. If not then I drop it like a hot potato. She has saved me wasting my time on so many. I also like her historical knowledge. She gives costume/period insights I don't have enough knowledge of. I loved her videos of the studios she visited when she was in China this summer/fall. She even visited shooting locations. It was so interesting. At least to me. Her insights can't be any worse than some of the comments in the comment sections for each drama. Only take what vibes. Peace♥

It wouldn't hurt to familiarize yourself with the story. Different cast though. I can only hope that the script is self contained and doesn't rely on the audience to know what happened before. Peace♥

Ning's speech about not using Ruyi as a honey pot to the Marquis said it all. He totally respects her. It's her choice. Her dressing down the Marquis actually calmed things down a bit. "unpure thoughts". Ning admitted he was somewhat jealous but knows in his heart she respects him too. Peace♥

Me too, especially when I know/heard his back story. He is amazing. He has fighting spirit to achieve his goals and dreams. Peace♥

They have the ugly syndrome. Ugly is as ugly does. They think others are ugly therefore themselves being ugly for that thought. All beings are beautiful. ♥

Each episode has an arc in it. I really appreciate this script for that. Lots of dramas don't have this. Character building or something happens to move the story forward. I don't find it draggy at all. Peace♥

Like I said Ruyi is the Marquis's weakness. I liked that she dressed him down and told him he had un pure thoughts towards his shifu. That calmed him down a bit, got through his insanity. He now realizes she is not his at all and that she loves someone else (not him). Don't push him too far or he will take it out on everyone. He wants what Ning has but doesn't know how get it. He is still obsessed but thankfully he couldn't bear to see Ruyi so sad and gave the medicine. (Thank heavens) I cried at that scene. The crew continues on intact. Peace♥
