We all have seen behaviours that trigger us on screen. It doesn't mean anything. We either ignore them and carry on or we stop watching. It's everyone's choice and perogative to watch or not. Skipping parts you cringe on is allowed. What we don't need is a running narative. It's all choice and each persons choice is theirs alone. No needed to be made public. Episode 1, the opening fight scene "2" thumbs up from me.♥

You all are so free using the word "hate". Just because you don't click with an actor/actress doesn't mean you hate them. It's just how they perform their craft. It may not be the best they can do. If they consistently don't do their best then that on them. I did try to watch this but the script was all over the place. << Peace♥

Just because you don't like the talents of an actor/actress doesn't mean you hate them. I don't like Angelababy as an actress, I don't hate her. She probably is a nice person. She just isn't good at her craft. Much room for improvement. Peace♥

Yes but they released a pay for view the last episodes. If you pay you can watch if not you can wait for the general release. Peace♥

This one for sure. Way better script, acting, CGI. music. All round excellent production.♥

In this series I think it's best to look at the ML role. Because his father and older brother died and left him the head of the family. He is filial to his Mother who has stuffed his household full of women he doesn't love. He does his best. Along comes another wife (set up) with a twist. The scheming of all the other concubines and his Mother is a maze FL has to find her way around. I think she does pretty good for a young girl thrown into a pit of vipers. In the end ML falls for her and she eventually melts and falls for him. Well worth the watch and rewatch if you like historical dramas. ♥

This is well worth the watch if you like historical dramas. The FL lead has a memorable life from a desolate childhood, daughter of a concubine, to wife of a marquis/duke. Full of character growth and endearing characters. (Of course some not so endearing.) Peace♥

Yes, Love is not possessive. If you truly love someone you let them go and find their happiness. With any soul/person they have free will and we don't own anyone. It's also your free will if you want to mope about it or move on. Choices. Peace♥

Not many actors can make me cry but Yang Zi did it in Ep 15. Excellent performance. I'm just loving this series. So well directed and hardly a lull in the action so far.♥

No they don't end up together in the end. Xian Liu << white haired guy. I know they have such chemistry too. ♥

It works both ways. You love someone to let them find themselves. You love yourself enough to release them. If they truly love you they will come back. If they don't come back it wasn't meant to be. It's all how you react. You want to put yourself down go ahead but it serves no purpose. Peace♥

Loving this story. The acting is awesome. CGI is very good. (The scene with the moon rise was amazing.) Best fantasy drama so far this year. Two thumbs up. ♥

Two characters have figured out she really is a female. She is in disguise. She lost her spiritual power while being tortured and they stole her power. The 9 headed serpent (Xiang Liu) and 9 tailed fox ( Tu Shan Jing) are both deities. She also is a deity and has a long life. She doesn't want her cousin to know who she is so she wants to move on. It's no longer safe for her. The mortals around her will die out. She has taught Skinny's wife the business so she can take over care of Skinny and Mu. It's time for her to move on. Maybe she will revert back to being a female. Peace♥

I have to comment. I wasn't going to but. FL is disrespectful of ML. She knows no boundaries. Her love is not doing it for me. Her character growth is so slow. Like she acted 12 then progressed to 14. I know it's the script/director. I just felt they could have given her more depth than a bumbling student which drags on through the series. Just saying. I do like how ML played his part. Sometimes amused, sometimes stern but really I don't think there is love chemistry between the two. Like fumbling in the dark. The supporting Mermaid king kinda bumbles around too and doesn't show his character potential, again the script. Other than these points it was good. Peace♥
