MBC must be so happy right now. This is their first non-family drama in AGES to get this much attention from the…
For all the success this has gotten, I find it strange that MBC isn't milking it more. The fact that they're rushing to air all the remaining episodes in the next two weeks which will affect it's ratings, confuses me. They're also not milking junho/seyoung promos as much as they could (e.g magazine couple shoot). I just don't get it
guys can anyone recommend me some sageuks that are similar/have similar vibes to this one?I'm planning on starting…
the other sageuk that got me as attached to the leads as this one was queen for 7 days. i remember the thing that stood out the most was their chemistry and the acting from the cast/ it has the same level a angst as this drama
for everyone talking about the change in chemistry or atmosphere, it was honestly inevitable. As much as I miss bubbly teen deokim and deoksan's interactions when they were younger, their maturity and yisan's shift in power was bound to change their dynamic. the gap in power between them has become even wider since he has become king, while deokim's desire to live a simple life has not changed, and those two things can't be reconciled - hence her feeling of suffocation. she loves him, wants him to herself and wants a simple life as well..but she knows she can't have any of that. with this internal struggle for deokim at play, and yisan's ability to get and do anything he wants..there's no way we'll ever see them as carefree as they were again
I'm curious, what are your top 3 favorite scenes so far?
1. ep 9 ending scene 2. the library neck grab scene (no not bc its romantic, but well acted) 3. the tangerine scene honourable mention: bathtub scene All the scenes where he's been rejected stuck out because the angst is always turned UP..and junho really shines in them
Not (recorded) historically accurate, but who knows if they take license.. But seems unlikely and redundant to…
i agree with you on the jealousy point - but i can't help but interpret his jealousy as more than just Deok Im gaining Yi San's trust. Maybe it's the way its directed or acted, but I interpret that Deok Ro has some other affection for Yi San
