Loved eps 6! In the words of charn it was 10!10!10! He had angst, cute scenes, kisses, sexy times and bite scenes. That motorcycle scene was cuteeeeeeeee and u died when tinn sung to charn!! Charn's past was so sad. Man has been traumatised and needs some serious therapy. Like what did the villagers do to him to get their houses burnt??? Like damn! He is still cute though. And him with tinn makes him even cuter
Sooooooo sloooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwww This has potential but damn if it didn't drag and wasn't boring. The pace is too fucking slow. The whole market scene could have be condensed to a few minutes. Also the attempted joke dragged so much. And why the fuck did he take so long to ask what year he was in??? Like u see people wearing weird clothes, they have strange accents and have never heard of a phone or a car before and u don't use the brain of yours to ask wtf is going on???? That 1h 11mins was not utilized well at all. Should have been 45mins I really hope things start picking up in later eps since our 2 leads will be meeting
So i finally decided to watch IPYTM after knowing about the cheating sub plot and i got to say I'm so glad i decided to watch it! It was amazing! They gave us such a realistic portrayal of becoming adults. How scary change is and we want to be in our safe zone. Teh is literally my favorite character!!!! Do u know how good a show must be to make love the ""cheater""? I 100% related with teh. Honestly I thought i was going to hate him since i knew he was the one that cheated so imagine my surprise when he became my favourite character. I felt and understood every single emotion he was going through. His actions (good or bad) were so clear and understandable. I could pinpoint every single detail that brought him to a certain point. His reaction to oh changing major and khim quitting acting just hit so hard!! It was so believable cos he lost his 2 safe zones. With oh they promised that they'll follow their dreams together and to be blindsided like that might have been world crushing and to later find out a person u looked up to quit... that is just brutal cos if this person couldn't make it what does that say to you? Oh obviously had every right to follow his dreams and khim have every right to be realistic but that shit still hurt. Now the cheating plot. I don't consider what ter did as cheating. Hear me out... The lines were 100% blurred!!! 1) jai literally manipulated and seduced teh for his personal goal. He took advantage of teh wanting to do a good job and wanting to make him proud. Him telling teh about the story behind the play literally made it clear how manipulative he was. 2) teh was too emotionally involved in the character he was playing... him finding out about how personal the play was to jai made him emotionally connected and invested in the character, not only as a person but also because of his care and love for jai. Also them having common interests didn't help things. It's human nature to be attracted to people who share your same interest... add the factor of playing and becoming a character and being emotionally and psychologically invested... no one would act rationally 3)the mood of the rehearsal was highly intimate... and as an actor one can lose themselves. That kiss was obviously a one time thing that happened cos emotions were charged. What makes it blurry is that we can't tell if teh was the only feelimg those emotions or his character. 4) the conversation teh has with jai clearly shows that teh saw himself as the character. Actors lose themselves in characters all the time. It takes some distance for them to find themselves again. So to me the lines were and are too blurred for what happened to be considered cheating... especially since he's an actor. It's too blurry and complex of a subject and this subject has to be discussed with some nuance. Now i don't appreciate how they gaslighted oh cos he felt like he was cheated on cos he had every right to feel that way even though i don't consider what happened cheating. Jai was a vile person... knowingly doing something so horrible to this young and inexperienced person. Just vile. Teh not having anyone after the break up just broke my heart. He didn't only lose his lover but also his best friend. And that was and is the saddest thing. When your lover is your best friend you lose both of them when things are over. Also all his friend group being oh's people... this shows us to build relationships outside of our lovers nest. If he hadn't being distracted and constantly working who knows how things would have turned out for him. It would have been a sad ending imo. I greatly enjoyed ep 1-4. The finale was okay.
