I still don't think it's his brother, we can also remove the 2 officers from the list of suspects. The ones remaining are: - the guy that got married on the day the first woman vanished - the junior detective - the fat guy I don't knowwww. Truly no one fits the bill
Loving this drama. The killer is obviously not gibeom. I was suspecting the older brother but i don't think it's him cos why is tae ju talking to him as if he doesn't know him? There's no familiarity. So it's definitely someone they've not focused on but maybe shown briefly? Maybe one of gibeom's friends? Other than the brother they too could have access to the handkerchief. Also tae ju was cleary not close with them so it would make sense for their future interactions to be unfamiliar. But my only doubt with this theory is how the were already prepared with the handkerchief. How did they know in advance jiwon was the spy permitting them to come prepared? Only the police knew. Was it insider info? This is getting interesting.
This show is a 6.5/10 in my book. It def needed to be 10 eps and ep 9 and 10 should have focused on their relationship as lovers. The good: - the chemistry of the actors was very nice to watch. They looked good together and they were good actors. - the build up of their romance was well done. Awkward , sweet and just endearing. The kiss was well earned - the realistic portrayal of homophobia by someone u love and trust. I loved that we didn't get the boy's name cos in society countless people are like him. - loved seeing the effects of his trauma from middle-school actually hunt the narrative. The bad which unfortunately outweighed everything: - tell me why in the lord's year 2026 are we condoning groomers and pedo behaviors???? The audacity of the writers to tell us (through katana which pissed me more off) that Akira and that fucker were searching for comfort from each other...BITCH WTF??? ARE THEY STUPID!?? AKIRA WAS LITERALLY A CHILD IN A VULNERABLE STATE WHO NEEDED GUIDANCE AND ACCEPTANCE FROM AN ADULT! HE DID NOT NEED OR DESERVE FOR AN ADULT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HIM! They are together now in the afterlife. Hopefully they reincarnate together in their next life in a better world😭

As an audience watching a character remain stagnant throughout the whole show prevents me from rooting for him. Most characters are growing and evolving and we the audience join them on that journey and are happy when they finally get their deserved happy ending. You root for characters like trin, viktor, krailert, naran. When trin cried this episode i felt all his emotions because they've shown us where he started and where he is now. He has grown. He has changed and we the audience have grown with him. His tears is well earned. With tanwa we are not growing with him. We don't get to see the journey that brings him to overcome his fear of loss and finally accept love. And it's such a shame cos overcoming trauma is such an interesting plot and can be portrayed with a lot of nuance. They could have used the hippie backdrop as a commentary and a way to delve deeper into his psyche. I mean they made sure to tell us the main purpose of his hippie group is finding themselves, being free etc. Isn't the epitome of freedom accepting and overcoming ur struggles? They could have shown how these group of people were actually like a second family to him. They were people who listened and helped each other overcome things. Like the writer could have done so much with that but instead those scene feel like fanservice. Like the episode where they mourned the beatles disbanding... instead of giving us that kumbaya scene which added nothing to the plot they could have made it an emotional and impactful scene talking about people leaving and how tanwa feels about that. That could then tie in with the loss of his mother and especially how that loss has impacted his relationship with his dad but how he still cares for him. We still don't know what caused the fragment. We see this ep he cares for his dad but that literally came out of the blue!!! They should have planted those seeds earlier!!!! We the audience could have gotten to know him so much better so when he tells trin "in the end everyone leaves" it has an impact on us. With the way his character is now i don't see trintanwa lasting cos they are on 2 different wavelength. Instead of giving us harmonious lovers with got a clusterfuck. The writers had so many opportunities to make his character interesting like all the other characters and they missed. So much wasted potential. It's frustrating to see a character misused this way and people should let non fans air their grievances. Bad writing is just bad writing. Period. No amount of excuses can make an uninteresting character "complex" if that complexity is not dealt with
What is the purpose of tanwa except for being a love interest for trin? Did they forget to let us see this man actively work to overcome his trauma? He's remained unchanged since ep 1. Even dhevi's story is more interesting than his. It's because his character is unactive that the love declaration felt unearned. These 2 people are clearly not on the same page. Usually 2 people from different backgrounds manage to find something that brings them together and we the audience see and fall in love with them but with these 2 i don't feel that connection. That hug could have felt so earned but they unfortunately missed the marked. They unexpectedly gave victor and trin the connection audience root for. Their story is the believable romance cos we see how and why they should be together. I don't ship these 2 but from an objective pov a romance between these 2 would have been the better option. Also they have great chemistry. With trintanwa there's no such connection. Trin is literally going through important growth and realizations and tanwa is just there. Still the same as in ep 1... unchanged. Does he even care that there was a protest? Does he know the life he enjoys is because his father is leeching off poor people? Instead of making him realise that and actively choose to change things he's here smoking and doing nothing. Oh his character gets on my nerves. Anyways that's not how u write a romance.
