Uuuu I’m interested as to why you gave directing an F, I mean I can see why, but I want to hear your opinion…
Lmaooo, I feel that way sometimes too XDD, it’s okay! It’s only the first two episodes at least for me, I can only stream two atm, so I can’t make a judgment, but so far ... I’m not really impressed you know? Like blown away? It’s just, I think the main FL isn’t cutting it for me (the main actress I have nothing against btw!), it’s like her character is written oddly and it feels uncomfortable when she’s around, like she’s bland, I hope that changes lol. OOF this is the problem I have with a lotttt of Chinese dubs, I hate the fact actors & actresses voices are dubbed, makes literally no sense to me and I hate it, The Untamed is the only drama so far that did a good job in dubbing the voices, even though I wish the og actors dubbed their own voices lmao, so weird to say ...
That’s a good point! For my mini review post I reviewed based off individual categories or overall directing, like everything separate. I wouldn’t classify directing as being everything overall, directing is more the “cuts,” between scenes and the camera shots, how the director wants the actors to feel in that scene etc. and watching over most departments. SCREENPLAY IS A WHOLE NOTHER CURVEBALL LMAO, they’re definitely separate. Screenplay is the characters, storyline, and pacing aspect of the story, you could have someone be he director and then someone else write the screenplay you know? That’s why it’s important to tell the difference between the two. The pacing of the show could be because of the writer and not the director, and it can be a pain in the ass sometimes ...
This is Vins’ first ML role indeed! I was so happy when I found out he was going to be in this, but the characters feel flat so far, this is just imo :’), this might be he first time I’ve seen like a male Mary Sue in a long time actually lmaoooo, I agree with that, and I think it’s fine to lack physicality, but mentally is mmmmm not too great, I’d actually like to see more male characters lack physicality, like strength etc, but mentally be intelligent and get themselves out of situations, so far this show is making Vin look weak, but not in a good way, if that makes sense, exactly as you described “a Mary Sue” -_____- ... I agree with shallow writing as well, especially this current episode with the bus scene ... ughhhhh
I personally feel this drama is quite underrated though. If you check out the music videos of this drama, the…
I personally think it’s far from underrated, I don’t classify mv’s to be a big part of a shows popularity, I count reviews, discussion feeds, and overall steaming platform data, like VIKI, Flower of Evil is soooo popular on VIKI, mainly because on viki you can stream internationally, on Netflix Flower of Evil isn’t available in the U.S. I’m guessing it’s exclusively for Netflix South Korea. The more streaming platform options you have available for a show, the more popularity the show will get, along with promotions like with cable or fun activities like what the YouTube channel The Swoon does, “the Jenga episodes” lol, this is just based off the data I’ve come across :’), but I do think some acting performances can be underrated at times! And I hope they both win some awards too, fingers crossed!
Really??? Did he accepted it that he likes her??? Romantically or just as a good friend???Pls tell me!!!
Lmao, EVERY SINGLE TIME, like don’t get me wrong, I partially get sad inside because there goes another person I can’t date irl XDDD, but I don’t spread sh— on the internet or harass the girl/guy they’re dating because I’m happy and sad at the same time, when push comes to shove, I’m happy for my fav idols getting in a relationship and making that commitment, takes a lot to come out and say “I’m together with someone” when you’re famous, massive respect to those who do, with Dispatch or TMZ finding out first lmaoooo
Watched first part, I skipped around quite a lot.- Cinematagraphy = A+- CGI = A- Acting = A (Vin did especially…
Uuuu I’m interested as to why you gave directing an F, I mean I can see why, but I want to hear your opinion of that’s okay! As for pacing, and script I agree so far, but the show just started, so I can’t judge too much until its over! :’)
Okay, the first episode of this show was pretty solid y’all, I didn’t expect a lot but I was impressed, this show seems like it has a good storyline with some great actors and actresses, and awesome costume design. Can’t wait for newer episodes. Also people posting spoilers without the spoiler tag: Come on ... y’all should know better lol >:P
Here’s my ratings for the current episodes so far, from 1–10:
Screenplay: 5 Directing: 5 Acting: 9 Cinematography: 10 Storyline / Pacing: 7 (seems a bit off to me ...)
The show just started so I can’t judge too much out of it! So far it’s intriguing!
lol you here too? OMG I love Park Gyu Youn wanted Lee Jae Wook but Min Jae works for me :)
Lmao not me, say hello to Ji Chang-wook who has been my profile gif for like five months now sksksks, your username is easy to remember lol, if a username is one word, I’ll probably do well in remembering it :’)
I’m not gonna lie, the sudden switch from Jisoo to Na In Woo, did not look good for this show, mainly because at ep. 8 when you see Na In Woo for the first time, and if you didn’t know about the bullying accusations you’d go, “WHAT?” Lol, I came here from VIKI and so many people are confused and think the switch is odd, I agree with them and if I’m also going to be honest, it now feels like a completely different drama, which can be a good or bad thing, I’m happy these bullying allegations are being dealt with because they’re A / NOT OKAY, but I’m sending out my best to the cast & crew for somehow fixing this mess, and to Kim So Hyun for being a queen (literally lol) and holding out through this whole sh— show, I was actually going to drop this drama, which I NEVER do, just because these newer episodes didn’t feel right and Na In Woo only had like a day to prepare but, I think I’m going to finish this show for the sake of the cast & crew and their hard work in reshoots because reshoots are the devil and not fun, ask any film major or aspiring filmmaker and they’ll tell you the same thing. I’ll ask everyone else on this feed to finish this show if possible for the sake of the reshoots not going to waste and the overall talent of the actors and actresses currently working on this show :’)
lol you here too? OMG I love Park Gyu Youn wanted Lee Jae Wook but Min Jae works for me :)
I also do that pretty well, I’ll instantly recognize someone I’ve seen before if I’ve seen their gif and they haven’t changed it lmao, or their username
Oh my good lord, waiting for newer episodes is going to be the same amount of pain as when I waited for the episodes of Mr. Queen, DDSLLS, Tale of the Nine-Tailed, Flower of Evil, Run On & Kairos, I can already feel it ... IN MY BONES. BOI.
Casting is fire, plot sounds interesting, gonna be good :’)
Lmaooo
