NOT WORTH YOUR TIME
let me start by saying, I Love Love love Lee Min Ho and MOST of his career choices. this for me was a major fail. I’m not sure what he saw in the script but for me it just failed big time. apart from the fact that the FL can justify the reproduction of fruit flies and mice in space but then turn around and destroy human life as a justification of the ‘roles’ shows just where this world is at regarding life choices. put aside the huge lacking of chemistry in any of the romantic interests particularly the 2 leads. I just didn’t find this one worth continuing past episode 5. my daughter and I have a 3 episode rule, give it a chance but if by episode 3 it’s not got you tgen we can drop it. I found myself pushing ahead, wanting it to get better because of Min Ho, however it just wasn’t worth it for me……the storyline goes from bad to worse and that’s not the actors fault

Stupidly disappointing
Nope didn’t like it - was probably expecting too much because of the cast but was sadly disappointed. The main FL having had a break down after dropping out of life except for her online gaming comes back with a bang and an alcohol habit. Being able to get into the head of the perpetrator (we call it profiling) but being outsmarted at every post until the end. In the Insurance business????? This would have been a better storyline set in the police department as they were apparently able to do all the police could. I’m sorry it just didn’t do it for me.Was this review helpful to you?
Bear with the ex-inlaws
sooooooo wonderfully amazing. From the storyline to the character development. Iloved how the writer built layer upon layer. My only disappointment would be the fact we didnt really get closure with regards to the ex-husbands family.. Happy he finally let go but man what a douchebag, blaming everyone else but himself for his own stupid choices. So very typical of the cultural victim mentality of this generation today. I guess this might be where they’re getting the idea that it’s okay to do so. LOLWas this review helpful to you?
Worth watching through the draggy start.
Although this felt a little draggy in parts as it moved forward, it grabs you and keeps you wanting to watch it. I started watching for Jung Il Woo and the FL but the rest of the cast were amazing at their portrayal of their characters that it kept me watching for the rest of the storylines for the other characters.definitely recommend watching this one. brilliant in every way.
The cast did an amazing job even in loving to hate the stepmom for all her evil actions and motivations. my only disappointment would be that there’s no real resolve regarding the step mum. a bit sad but I’ll get over it.

Wonderful
Omg I loved this from start to finish. Ji Sung is amazing all the way through as are the other lead characters. I especially loved the fact that the chief focussed on winning his wife back and not the job or the hospital.More JiSubg p,ease.
The story kept a fast pace tight throughout and unlike a lot of melodramas it wasn’t draggy at all.

So Brilliant
This was brilliant….. Just loved the writer’s ability to tell the background story whilst in modern day times without too much tooling and froing. The actors also did brilliantly. Love love loved both Nana and Jang Dongyoon, they made me stay. Their chemistry is EVERYTHING, hoping for more projects of them together. They compliment each other really well!!. Side characters had such great character development as well. I cannot fault the director on this one. So so good, rewatch value a 10/10Was this review helpful to you?

Not on my rewatch list
OMG - watched this because I love the actors in it. Disappointed greatly at the way modern thinking presented in media today has turned our culture where a sacred union called marriage between 2 people has been turned into living however you like because “love doesn’t last”. What a farce!!!! Hate to break it to you people but Love is NOT A FEELING it’s an Active decision that we CHOOSE TO DO. Laying down our own selfish desires for that of the other person. This generation today need to wake up and realise how far we’ve come from the sacred union of loving each other for the other person’s sake into the complete and utter self-centred way if life today. The wonder why they’re never happy. You can’t be happy while living selfishly. Was this review helpful to you?
Cute and corny with a ho hum ending
This drama had me all in with LSW and JYJ, the evil stepmother. the hardest part to watch, apart from the appallingly slow and almost afterthought reactions from JYJ, whom I truly have enjoyed watching previously, was the last 10 episodes. I meAn, having already worked out the ending. I just wanted either the resolve of just desserts or a good restoration story ending of evil turned good but neither was happening. I do have to say that the ending storyline of mother and daughter together in the afterlife is just so wrong!!! mother doesnt get to enjoy her daughter after destroying her life for her own selfish gain…… just doesn’t happen people. Hell is real and there are no parties happening there either.the other cast members did a brilliant job with the writing they were given but I do not think I’ll revisit this one.

PHS acting skills are 10/10
love PHS, just couldnt get into this drama from the start - could tell the writer's script from the outset. was gouing to be betrayed by his lover. killed by those who wanted him out of the way and manipulated by SeongJeong. couldnt be bothered to be traumatised by the writer's incompetency of so called revenge. Or so I thought……….although, I’m still ticked off with the waynit ended, I will take back, some of, what I said.
There could have been a redeeming ending with Sunho and Tahyung but it ended with evil intent. a hugely missed opportunity, however, it does leave an ending for a season 2, I guess.
PHS absolutely makes this drama and has outshone all the elders in this one. Love him, didnt like the ending!!!

Disappointing writing
okay, so first up, I just want to say I was warned off watching this one. That being said, I still took it on because i love some of the actors/actresses in it. Inalsomhave to add that in the end, lthough i clicked that “I like this” on Netflix, I didn’t Love it.. It still let me down with the writing, the actors did an amazing job with what they had but the writer waits until the very last episode for the ML to discover the BOD that his gfriend has been on and only brings them back together in the last 5 minutes. Say What!!!Was this review helpful to you?
based on Real Life crime stories.
i enjoyed the stories, not because they were based on reality but becausenI love mystery and working out who dunnit. Have to admit, the first one had me puzzled but the 2nd one was an easy pick for me…. what police officer picks upma woman whomjustbran out of the bush and collapses. theyd call for an ambulance and assistance. The actors did well in portraying their parts, however, i’m not sure if it was the writing or the producing/directing that had me wondering if the ML Song Il Gook was just awkward or if it was something he had to do???!!!Otherwise enjoyable, it was draggy to begin with thus the reason it took me so long to finish

Endearing high school romance.
With a background of domestic abuse, there’s enough in this movie to bring it altogether quickly. I loved how the writer portrayed the innocence of the high school romance. without going too far into the abuse side but giving just enough of the background story at just the right time.in typical abuse fashion the wife goes back to deal with the husband and ends up far worse off than before..
sweetness in the romance though and in true self sacrificing that is true Love, she tries to let him go……..

No romance here…..
Soooo good 😊 Love Park Min Young and Kim Myung Min. Both were brilliant right to the end.I also appreciated the fact there was no romance between them, although it was hinted at. This storyline had such a redemptive ending that you need to watch to appreciate.
The director and writer did such a great job with this piece. Thank you. ♥️

Amazing
I love both Jung Il Woo and Go Ah Ra. They were just as amazing in this drama as usual. Loved both his and her character development throughout. Feeling pity for his brothers, even Tan. This is a truly wonderful story…… I did struggle at times to get through the 48 episodes but it’s still deserving of the 9 stars rating…Was this review helpful to you?
Cutesy
I enjoyed this drama and all the characters in it. The side storyline, although short were definitely sweet. Not like other drama’s where they can often outshine the main characters. The M and FL were done well, although I’m a fan of both, he can definitely do with a different persona - he’s almost been typecast into the stiff upper lip type of character. This was fine for this drama but I’d love to see him in another style of character.A little disappointing was the ending.
