Also, a random comment here, the old guy in purple :)) His clothes reminded me of the animated version of Gomez from Addams family :)) he was dressed the same :) in the '90s
Only 5 eps I guess it didn't do much lol how much did it even cover
That is what I thought as well, that they only covered a part... but they kind of mashed in 5 episodes a huge period of the anime, and they cut all the development, (so they changed a few things).
One of the best og animes.. From 90s did this adaptation do justice or failed asking og fans if any here?
For me, they failed because it was too short and the script did not focus on the character's grind. In the manga and anime, one feels how hard they are working, they see the character development and how they mature. There is also a good dynamic between the characters and it's important for the show, they put an accent on this (there is an incredible bond between the characters). All those elements are missing in this one because it's too short and there is no time for any type of development, things are told to us and not shown through actions, which is an element present in bad movies because of the bad writing. I don't even care about the costumes and other stuff, I can ignore some small things if the essence of the show is there.
Terrible adaptation. Characters are so badly written: no character development, no personality, no depth, none…
I think One Piece was good because they had the mangaka there, but YuYu Hakusho as an anime was long, it had so much time to develop, and the characters were so good, I had expectations... How did they think to adapt it in 5 episodes for such a long anime? 5 episodes are not enough for such a project. I don't care about the costumes at all, if they had worked on the length and script, the costumes would have been an exception. They should have committed to the '90s to make us feel like it takes place there... The main character is a kid but in the story, he matures and grows, we have no time for that here :))) Bad writing and too short to develop properly.
Just going to wait until its done so i have chance to fastforward, but if i find a storyline that has not released…
It should be higher budget but, it does not seem like that since the cgi is worse. I will watch it because I want to see how things develope :) I saw they made a movie as well diffrent cast as well...

Yes, this is low budget compared to the first season, and they changed the story from the first season... :(( I don't feel like the story has continuity.
No, multiple characters were not in it... this is a strange one, because I heard about the series that started…
Yes, I understood :) She is in the cast so are others but in this 1 h and 33 min they aren't. That is why I though this is just the first part of the project...
i have not watched the first season so in my opinion rn, its kind of good!
the first season was a bit of a higher production, and it got better as the series went on. But what people complained about was the changes to the story. This one seems to have lower budget...
Did medusa made an appearance? Cause I didn't see her. Or maybe just a brief moment?
No, multiple characters were not in it... this is a strange one, because I heard about the series that started airing recently (the second season), but not about this move. It could be possible there are 2 companies working on the same story? And this is only the first part of the movie?
Is this season 2 or a rewrite? People complained about the changes in season 1... are they changing stuff again…
So season 2 will be like in the novels? They are coming back on track. I usually don't mind if the story changes a bit if they keep the characters true to the original essence... But in season 2 they changed some of them so much it felt they were other characters just using the same names from the novel :))
Season 1 cliffhanger frustrated me so much and here we are for Season 2 but the casts changed 🥹

This series is not as bad as Critical Voices writes. It is certainly not an absolute top, but I liked the drama.…
I don't know how bad others said it is, but it's horrible because the writing is horrible, from the point of view of a professional writer, this is just horrible. Nothing makes sense... I understand the plot but it's forced, it does not flow... it had potential, it looks good, has a nice budget... the actors are okay, yet it's flat and the characters never develop.
