honestly idk about that.... the same thing had been said abt the s2 cast but they came out to be more popular…
They were not more popular though, 2 Moons was crazy successful and they did promotions full cast for season 2 in 2018, and based on the promos people were crazy for season 2, then MV just booted the old cast and just cast new actors... If the first season would not have been crazy popular the cast would not have been able to star in another 2 series based on their dynamics and on 2Moons' chemistry, plus a third one that is on the way.
Hotel Stars - 5 of the main cast
Gen Y and Gen Y 2 - which are an alternative continuation for 2Moons since the actors have some of the rights of the characters. So you can see Kit, Mark, and Wayu and obviously some other characters :) Gen Y 2 is with the status of TBA for now ( also they were info in that period of time that Tae and Tee will be in this season as well, but now there is no confirmation or info on that)
Let's not forget that the actors of season 1 had a contract for 3 seasons with the 2 Moons project :)

But to be honest, the actors were new and young in the first season, so I think they did not expect or know of such bad companies and events. I won't even talk about poor God (that was a victim) but treated like a bad guy.

Then 2Moons2 came on and it was successful but not only because of the series it was because the actors themselves have very strong personalities and they were interacting with the fans outside the project they were also very active on social media even having youtube channels. They are talented and had chemistry but as in the first season, MV is the only reason they were dragged down.

Now for season 3... Can't even imagine since there are already rumors floating around about having events connected with the storyline in "Call It What You Want"... people are speculating... I heard about Call It What You Want and I thought the premise of the project is interesting and I all I knew is that the project is based on the experiences of some BL actors behind the scenes, the series is not even out but people started speculating about scandals and a connection with 2Moons2 scandal... So if things will go down with 2Moons 3 ... omg

Okay but... how are they gonna continue the story from where S2 left off if all of the actors are different? Why…
They already did this before they did 2 Moons, then changed the entire cast and they made 2Moons2... and now could be they will repet the same thing

is it confirmed that there will be a season 3?
This is crazy how literally all 3 of them projects had rumors and scandals... It was so sad to see the cast from 2Moons cry and be dragged and used and then dumped and blamed, and then 2Moons2 cast also going through difficult situations and now this new project that is sitting on thin ice...

Am I the only one that likes this? :)) I see it as fan service, every week a dose of extra sugar enough to make you smile after other intense, sad, or crazy dramas. This series was made with the purpose of cuteness :))
The first couple Tue and Ake made me laugh (I could analyze it more and come up with a plot to make it plausible but I am too sleepy- will edit this post another day).

If people want to disconnect these short stories- series is good, if people are looking for a serious project, with a good story and character development, this does not fit.

They got angry because there was a similar incident between China and Korea, like with Japan and Korea... Chinese…
There must have been claims since there were multiple articles about it and also people that nothing to do with the industry talked about these claims on their youtube channels ( as for the hanfu and the pickles I never heard or saw any claims like that). All the "fights" came one after the other, so people were fed up, then they considered that the design from the project looked more Chine than Korean (when it was supposed to have |Korean historical influence, people got mad... since the other incidents did not die out. And this is the perspective of someone that is an outsider, I love both Chinese and Korean culture and also the entertainment projects, I am not one-sided, but from the reports, this is the information I got :)
As I perceived it the people did not attack China they attacked the production and their choices, and only after that was that somehow this became a thing about China.

what does this thing have anything to do with china? or cdrama? i see people in the comments, "IF THIS IS CDRAMA"…
They got angry because there was a similar incident between China and Korea, like with Japan and Korea... Chinese citizens and Korean citizens were fighting with each other, then there were claims that kimchi and and the hambok were Chinese this made things worst... and then every time there was an event with China and Korea it turned into a fight and controversy, and obviously it touched this drama as well... Even if they wanted to make a drama with a theme of the past and history it is still supposed to be fictional, but people always take things literally.

Apologies if this has been said (or if it’s obvious from the trailer, which I haven’t watched), but for anyone…
I think you are right, but also I think they will have some extra scenes as well ... at least I hope they will :)

Title Nice to Meet You Spoiler
I don’t think I can take it anymore. I am dropping this drama. The FL is too annoying and dumb for me to bear.…
I don't get why people complain about the FL... I mean she is helping her aunt for revenge (what goes around comes around). The male lead is a baby and has no reason to hate the aunt, he was like that because he blames her for his mother's death when the real scum bag is the father.
The guy is an ass as well it's ok for him to do everything for the company and "lie" to the public multiple times about multiple situations while clearly, his girlfriend is uncomfortable, and then knowing that his partner is constantly using dirty tricks he is never there when it counts in order to prevent it, he just arrives after his girlfriend falls to pick up the pieces, he also never trusted her abilities truly. He is watching from the sidelines every time...
I am supersized she did not murder them all becoming a sociopath or something... I mean the father is a selfish gold digger (completely disrespectful and rotten to the core), knows the disaster his selfish actions created, but he still is siding with his murderer wife and then pretends to ask for forgiveness. The mother went crazy and is just of no moral support, so the FL has to carry on her shoulders the pain of seeing her own mother like that plus knowing how unfairly life treated her because she knows the truth. She loses the competition and job over being cheated and sabotaged, she is slandered because of lies, she has no money, she loses her house and then her grandfather dies. But people expect her to be a saint, can't she be blinded by anger and the grieving of her grandfather her only support?

After all that she went through she would not be able to think clearly... one mistake changed into a crazy situation...
I get that people don't like her decision-making, but at the base of it everything that happened was crazy, I wonder how many people would be able to take it.
The writing is strange... so many things happened but they managed to make them look unimportant after a few episodes, there is a bit of a problem with continuity, some things are shown as extra important while others not so much even when they clearly were just as serious.

I understand where you are coming from but in this situation I feel like she did not even try... You said she…
Yes, I did not mind that she moved on, what bothered me was how inconsiderate she was to the other person.
She decided he was not good for her so she should have told him clearly, but he did not get the situation, he could not resolve his feelings clearly because he did not have closure. So in all this story she was saying something and doing the opposite, she was confusing people (and the misunderstanding was never resolved because the communication sucked).
I imagined a simpler situation like having a friend and all of a sudden that person just cuts you off no word... that would be frustrating for all and it would be a bit disrespectful (thinking of how people put their hearts into relationships and connections).
It was strange to me not because of what happened but because of how it happened.
I get that all people go through a process but it's also not fair to strand people along or confuse them :)

I got the impression that the production relied a lot on the leads popularity and therefore did not put much effort…
You are right, I mean the people that were payed to do their jobs tried their best I am sure, the people with money and the ones in power that made the final decisions seemed at fault and not very serious about the story.

Did you all forget that Sun Oh started flirting with Jojo because his best friend had a crush on her? He later…
I thought he used that as an excuse, I was reading between the lines but I though they both had a crush on her but he did not want to admit it, then when he saw the situation between his friend and her he made a move.

The way I see it is that Jojo's love with Sunoh wasn't really a healthy one for either of them. She couldn't be…
I understand where you are coming from but in this situation I feel like she did not even try... You said she could not talk to him, I see it as - she did not even try, she never faced him, opened her mouth and open up to him ( then he had no closure)... so obviously the guy did not even have a chance to know her.
If both are willing to work things out then things can work out, in this case the guy would have put in the efort because he cared but she continuously ran away and did not even truly try (how can she know if he is good for her, if she did not even let an autentic connection form or not even gave him a chance) and in the end if her words are actually true and she will never love anyone as she loved him that means she settled for the next best thing...

This drama was not bad but it was also not good... The actors did well, the costumes were good generally this was a high production, but I think the writing was not enough...
As I know the budget for this project was high, we have talented actors but something is lost on the screen, could be that it was filmed in the middle of the pandemic and they struggled to finish the project because something was always disrupting the flow.
I watched all the episodes, so I managed to finish, I loved the first episodes it was exciting and more dynamic... but as the episodes aired I felt it was dragging a bit, I was not excited for the continuation, I liked it but I was not excited like I was expecting to be.
As I mentioned I felt confused because I could not pinpoint at first the exact reason. as I looked at all the elements individually and at the talent and it was perfect, even the novel it was made after is super loved, so then?
Well, I realized that next to modern themed projects 51 episodes is a lot, for a period or fantasy dramas I saw longer, but 51 episodes is a lot to make a complex story and good character development with interesting dynamics... I thought the characters were not explored enough, things seemed surface level, and then some part that was supposed to show development that stretched over 2 or 3 episodes somehow managed to feel rushed or empty...
I had the feeling this did not come across as they wanted or planned, I understood the roots that is why I said it's not bad but the way it came across is mediocre and acceptable.
Even though I researched a bit about this after I watched it, to see if I misunderstood something about the story or if I was the only person that got the impression this project was a bit watered down, and I found out that a lot of fans of the book and Chinese viewers were complaining about a lot of aspects in this drama that I did not even consider or want to criticize, basically more people, that like me watch a lot of films, movies, series from all around the world and have experience and a bit of a critical eye, noticed this project did not get the care it needed.
They complained about the spirit of the story being stifled compared to the book which is something I felt as well, but then they complained about the CGI not being on par with 2020 technology and the budget they had, they complained about the camerawork (disappointing fight scenes for being a wuxia, or strange close-ups), and apparently, even the actress mentioned she was promised more and got nothing in terms of story and character.
There were over 10 different people working on the script how could it even have a flow and continuity that way?
I am curious what people think about it, not only from an entertainment point of view but if we get a bit technical, where people that excited and satisfied about what was going on? Or were they more excited about the actors?

Title Space Sweepers Spoiler
This is a cross between Star Wars and the original Blade Runner movie. It is well put together. The storyline…
When I saw the crew I asked myself if it will be like Cowboy Bebop (2 guys, a girl, and a child, no dog but they have a robot)...
I knew nothing about the plot of the movie and it turned out differently, but it was ok for being the first. Usually, this genre and space movies have huge budgets compared to this movie, but this movie managed to make everything look good.

Now that I think about it Netflix wanted to do a Cowboy Bebop series.
